Just a side comment after saying what a great tutorial, thank you......Nothing wrong if you just make a one layer cake! If you know how expensive diapers are making a one layer version might be more affordable for anyone who is on a smaller budget!
Moccasins wrecked! USE DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE, not safety-pins!!!!! Those are actual baby-shoes, and could have been used to keep a baby's feet warm, even in the rain! Now baby's feet will get wet, blistered, and possibly even yeast-infected, if the new Mom, who's tired and doesn't know any better, tries to use them on her baby's feet. BAD CALL.

Just a suggestion...using pins will put holes in the diapers so it's better to use hot glue, being careful not to get any on the diapers

I hate diaper cakes they aren’t convient to use and honestly everyone I know who has been given on they tossed them out
They threw away free diapers?! All you have to do is take the cake apart and put the diapers in a basket in the nursery or in a drawer and use them…..
