The beauty of LED lights (especially headlights) are that they are very bright, generate minimal heat, have a long lifespan, and for EVs in particular, drain very little energy relative to incandescent or HID bulbs.

And they eliminate any remaining excuses for carmakers to still use red turn signals as they can be clear and colorless unless lit

Thanks for this video. There are lots of Mach E reviews and overview videos out there, but very few with night time video. It's nice to see what it looks like in the dark. Disappointed about the ambient light not being in the back seat area though.

Really enjoyed your video. It was very fun to get to see the Mach-e at night, most Mach-e reviews are done in daylight.

Great video as always!! It is so funny how Ford always has Fordisms... like non-lit cubbies or gloveboxes or only having ambient lighting in the front. I wish they would learn from other brands. Also seeing as so many ford products have cornering lamps, I am shocked their first EV doesn't have this, or fog lamps. Thanks as always!

I've heard tons of ppl saying their puddle lights (which are particularly cool on mustangs) don't work - then tons of ppl responding explaining that you have to have the mirrors set to auto (folding in n out) for that to work because apparently the puddle lights only turn on for a brief moment when the mirrors are folded in? That doesnt look to be the case here..? Maybe it was only when they're folded out... But that's most of the time.. Ive also heard a lot of people saying they only work when its like pitch dark outside like midnight kind of dark and that you have to be like standing at the right distance from the car, not too far, not too close... This all sounds a bit finicky just like everything else that would've otherwise been cool with this car that so many buyers are complaining about.... I was going to buy the 2022 GT and already put my deposit on it but can anyone who owns one actually tell me that they like the freakin car after months of having one?? Can anyone share with me the good things about how it holds up and how features function??? Also, are they very fast compared to any semi fast car on the road???
Cuz I was SO STOKED to buy this car but now I'm actually leaning more towards the Tesla Y b/c I can get in one much sooner and though I don't think its nearly as cool as the mach, I KNOW Teslas are quality cars that hold up and the features and speed are ACTUALLY accurate to the ads, as in its ACTUALLY as fast as it says and ACTUALLY has working phone key, bluetooth, led lighting features, auto pilot, and more... The mach GT claims 0-60 in 3.5-3.8 seconds but the reviews I saw timed it closer to that of the Nissan, Audi, Kia EVS at 0-60 in around 4+ seconds which was disappointing especially when you find that on top of that, it can only move at its full power/speed for up to 5seconds before it falls off and apparently falls off at around 80mph which is like.... my q50 holds a speed above 80mph for longer than that..... I watched as the Y left it in the dust, then I watched a real mustang shelby GT500 (or something like that) also leave it in the dust on the quarter mile.... This was disappointing and left me wondering WHAT comparable car IS the mach e GT faster than??? HOW fast exactly is it? What can I compare it to in terms of its power and speed? && when I talk about it's speed, I'd like to know how fast it can go at a consistent rate, not how fast it can go for 3seconds before slowing itself down. I'm curious what mach e owners have to say and if they could go back and make the choice between the performance model Y from Tesla and the Ford Mach E GT, would they still go with the mach now that they've owned one and really know it well??? Especially those like myself who dont normally like SUVs/crossovers and usually like a small fast car. A bigger car is a necessity at this point but I'd still like it to be fast like I've gotten used to in the Tesla S... Like I said, we've had a tesla before so we know they are good cars and don't have the kinds of problems (so many) I've heard about with these mustang EVS, but its also nowhere near as exciting buying another Tesla especially the ugliest model (imo)... Tesla is known for minimalism but if you ask me, they take it a little too far and the Y came out looking like an old person car on the inside and an ugly mom car on the outside.. the front end looks like the front end of a mormon mom van....ANY knowledgeable opinion on which of these two cars is the better purchase would be greatly appreciated as I've really gotten hung up on this decision. They both have a lot of pluses and minuses.... Keep in mind, the Tesla has a lot of aftermarket goodies so one could easily add all the cool stuff like puddle lights, LED door panel pieces, a screen behind the wheel, light up emblems on the front/back, wheels/rims, wraps, all of it.... Can def. make the Tesla look cool too like the mach does, it just also performs like a bad ass. .If anyone made it to the end of this thread. lmk your thoughts!

I’ve made it to the end and it was quite enjoyable weirdly enough but i don’t own a car but in the process of saving to get this car because it always stood out to me from the first time I seen it so all I can say is go with your gut not much advice but if you really like something all the negatives don’t really mean as much because you really do like your car

Great video! Too bad Ford didn’t illuminate the ponies on the front and rear of the Mach E as standard. Even a faint led around the pony on the steering wheel would’ve been unique. Regardless, I LOVE this EV. 🥰💕

If only they added two small lights before the front seats, it would've been enough. Atleast they did illuminated the front foot wells.
