We need more quality comedy like this NOW! These folks were hilarious, why can't we have this quality now instead of the rubbish we get served up with.

Totally hilarious! Carol said live performances, were NEVER just like they taped or practiced, they were all such spontaneous geniuses that when they let go, the funniest unplanned things just happened! Pure comedy gold!
Of course they practiced! For example here if they hadn't practiced the couch wouldn't have sank underneath Carol, or the chair stuck to her ass, The cupboard door wouldn't have been cloth and the wife wouldn't have know to look behind the curtains...etc
@@paperbackonly8438 - Although here they took license with his nomenclature. The character's name was usually Alfred Funt, being as it was a play on the real-life Alfred Lunt. Wouldn't that make Funt's usual partner's full name Lynn (or Lynne) Mundane?
I wish it hadn't of been done then. It's about as funny as Conway's take on older people - which is not funny at all. I watched when this first aired and thought (and still do) it beneath Carol and her glorious show.
