Homeslice probably felt really nice having someone that's completely "his". That's actually legit sad, and the implications of "the next time we meet, I wanna see you make a grave again" isn't helping me feel better. That's a sure-fire way of Eddie killing things just to bury them broooooo
I think the father of the girl is going to kill her and Eddie is going to make her grave in their secret spot he showed her. I think that's what's going to be his step into the spiral of craziness he was at in Angels of Death. But I am probably wrong lol.
@@realtester1984 True true. I commented before I could finish the video, and I agree. Either girl is going to get sicker (from how apparently pale she was, I bet the dad doesn't feed her) or her father finally snaps, she gonna die in the forest and Eddie's gonna bury her.
what if...Eddie wasn't given the chance make her grave? I think the way the scenes is showed seems to be like that will be a perfect spot for her burial but what if Eddie's father (the one who manage the cemetery) decide "no son your brother Albert need to take care of this corpse because is time he show me he's a true gravekeeper" and Albert do a poor ass job (That would make Eddie sad and snap for the injustice). That for me would explain why Eddie is literally obsessed in making a perfect grave for Rachel in Angels of Death.

@@mayareemoonmoon Thanks (^^) I mean it could also be not the case (- -') but for me this way the story make more impact/connection: Is a while from the time I've seen the first game but I remember Eddie shocked answer when Rachel (the expy of the Girl Eddie love) decided to stick with Zack on her suicide plan and it was along the lines: "Why? you know He will *not treat your corpse* like I would!" I feel some kind of reference to how his loved one was treated.
Edit: Also Zack being a douche and rubbing on his face she stick with him was kind on point to make Eddie snap XD
This'll be fun. I'm excited to see how Eddie goes from here to where he is in Angels of Death. Considering this is a prequel, I'm sure Eddie and the unnamed Girl will be totally happy together with no tragedy on the looming horizon.

Nah, I think following cliches it'll probably go something like Albert finds out and either 1) Reveals that's Eddie's been sneaking out so he's not allowed to go out anymore or 2) Just to be a real jerk of a brother as he's shown to be winds up making her grave (or have some kind of argument) which then makes Eddie snap. At least if we are going by cliches lol.
I like to think if we are going by the worst sad path of thinking that Eddie *don't get a chance to make girl grave* and that honor either go to the Dad or as "the heir who need to prove himself" his older Brother Albert (who make a poor ass job) that for me would explain why in the sequel Eddie is obsessed with Rachel getting the perfect place to rest.
No Manly, Eddie is best boi. Funny thing tho, we didn't get as much info in the manga, so this is a really nice thing. The doc's story is interesting as well tho

Just taking a wild guess here , just after watching the sequence with the girl while he burried the rabbit, but I am betting the eldest brother killed her( the little girl in the grave I mean). That's why he freaked out when Eddie asked if he knew about what kind of person was being burried in the grave for the little girl. No doubt his brother is a psychopath killing pets and people.
Is a wild guess, I mean is possible but I don't think he's a killer (otherwise all that anger he still pent up and use in the house and on eddie isn't explained). They are all just kids forced by their Father to do a dirty job too early for their ages and all show signs of mental illness.
I always felt bad for Eddie in the game, he was my favorite
I thought this when I watched the Angels of Death playthrough, and I'm thinking it again as I watch this. Eddie is a good kid with a good heart, but he's been born in unfortunate circumstances that made him become warped overtime. Of course, in Angels of Death, we didn't get his backstory, but just the way he acted was telling enough. I can only guess what happens at the end of the story where he becomes part of the facility we see in the main game.

I've been reading the manga for this series, and they reveal more about each of the characters' backstories and how they became the people they are. Though I think the part about Albert physically abusing Eddie might be new, because I don't recall that happening in the manga. But God, almost everyone in this series come from super awful families, it makes me really sad. :(
I don't think of the time when the manga was made. It wasn't created by the creater of games. I think they just kinda went their own way with it. Now the actual creater is like sure okay i'll expand on it. Because before it seemed like he wanted to leave things about but with his anime and manga adaption. I guess he wanted to do a canon take on it.
I know right, I just want to adopt Eddie and give him an actual loving home.

I'm so happy to see Angels of Death has prequel episodes released. Searching for that game in TH-cam after completing it was how I found this channel in the first place. The moment Manly called the dove "plot device bird" was when I decided to subscribe.
I won't be watching this yet because I want to experience it firsthand first, but I'm overjoyed to see this be released. Thanks Manly I wouldn't have known about this otherwise :D
Yo, I had to do a double take when I saw that title! I just finished watching your let's play of Angels of Death a few weeks ago and I'm totally in love with it.
The Dad will dig a grave for the Mother.
Albert the First Son will dig a grave for the Dad.
Carl the second Son will dig a grave for Albert.
Eddie the Third son will dig a grave for Carl.
George the Fourth son will be beat up by Zack who will get Eddie smashed under a gravestone.
The Pets will then dig a grave for George.

I get the feeling (even if that cliff foreshadow a perfect place for this girl tomb) Eddie don't get the chance to dig her grave or make it as she would have liked it (that would explain why in Angels of Death he's obsessed with Rachel getting the perfect one)

Eddie's story just makes me want to cry - his and Girl's. Two lost souls that are destined for greater sadness I'm sure. Making headstones is a true art and in a lot of the world, a lost art. Oddly enough, the weird choice of bear and tomato actually turned out sweet. I'm looking forward to the rest of the story and more of MBH's "giggle". :D
Aaa I’ve been waiting for this prequel! Eddie is personally my favorite out of all of the characters so having to see his backstory being made into a separate game is amazing 😔🥺

One of the best games/anime’s ever. Rachael is such a MOOD. I resonate with her. Pretty much just “I’m so done here, can I die now?” Like.... girl, ME TOO.
In the beginning good, but not the later part to the end, in the anime, as it didn’t make that much sense

But I can't suspend my disbelief at his constant mistreatment. Like, now only Eddie would come out bruised at some parts (which would make his parents notice), but real siblings tell on their other siblings for anything bad they do to them. What I'm saying is, realistically, his parents would've noticed by now that Albert was hitting him. They could've made that part much better, tbh.
Yeah but you can see that isn't a functional family, they are poor and ignorants and probably be a old fashion Grave keeper is hard work (digging graves, carving stones) and Eddie is always dirty so for convenience the Parents think he is all bruised because he work too much in the cemetery. George is little and don't know better but Carl the second oldest brother should notice (that guy is smart enough and sleep in the same hallway so he should hear Albert beating Eddie in his room) that is what I call a weasel.

To be honest the moment I listen to 0:53 - 3:18 in depth of the theme song. I felt have heard it before somehow.
Until it triggered me the song from the mobile game, Lost Smile and Strange Circus! I have yet to find who was the author who made the song. It was a simple and nostalgic song I used to remember when I play it. It's always there in the main menu whenever I open up.
I want to appreciate who ever made this song instrumental though and the game creator of Angel of Death who added this song in the game.
