Sitting here in Rochford Essex in England watching you guys living your best lives, we watch every week to see your adventures. Hopefully we will be doing the same later this year or early next year. Keep the fantastic vids going guys. Karl & Karen
Daly Waters should definitely be an overnighter. If you want no one around at the Mataranka thermal pool, you have to be down there at 5am or after dark. :)
Another top vid , I’ve realised why I enjoy your vids…the synergy between yourselves is excellent (I suppose it has to be lol)…plus you don’t talk over each other too. I’m finding once I finish watching your vids I’m checking google maps to see where you are , love the shots from the drone whilst your driving , very clever.
Jack ,we love your videos but let's keep it fun and happy ..dont dance haha. We cannot wait to get back to Aus.just waiting for my wife of 12 years to get her permanent visa. I hope it will be granted in the next 8 months .. then our trip will start . There is always something to do , just relax see the sunsets. Jack you do the cooking and megan does everything else ..haha..havagoodweekend.. Keep safe Jack & megan ..kev from northern Thailand
Great episode. Just recently went to Mataranka and Katherine. Did the exact same thing, first to the thermal pool, then to bitter springs which I think was much better. Really recommended Nitmiluk national Park and the sunset dinner cruise on the gorge. It is expensive but worth every cent. One of the best experiences I have ever had
Must buy an ND filter for your camera set up, will help with the over exposure unless you have one lol 😂 love the videos guys look forward to watching the future of your vlogs also hope to meet you guys if you ever come to New Zealand
We were in Mataranka last week. Really enjoyed our stay there, hut I get what you mean. I could not drone or video much of our stay in thr springs/pool because each time we went just full of people. I Vlog for memories not TH-cam but I like to capture good content too 😍. You guys really down to earth.
Hell yeah, we're in the process of kitting out our Troopy to do a lap of our own. Just wondering if you guys have a grey water tank as I've read you need to be fully 'self contained' to enter some National Parks? Cheers!
Hey mate no we do not have a grey water tank we have not come across any national parks that require it but we have come across a few free RV friendly places that require it. Our suggestion would be if you can fit it definitely have one will allow for more free camping👍
@@itsJackandMegan Amazing thanks, messing around in Sketchup trying to get the perfect layout.. would definitely be nice to save some money on the road!
Been to Daly Waters a few times , great atmosphere at night when the bands are playing ! Wondering to myself if you crossed paths with the Flying the Nest Couple who are also in the NT Recently
I've heard Daly Waters is a must stay for evening pub atmosphere. We didn't but will next time. Marty Advice; Don't stop and have lunch next to bins! If you get the chance to see 'Whippy Griggs", do it! Free show and does a lot of them at Mataranka. Enjoying your random rambles. Where are you guys right now? Marty from Perth
Hey mate you have to stop of at Daly waters it was awesome!! We did see whippy Griggs well didn’t see him but heard his show sounded awesome! We were trying to sleep for the early wake up 😂😂 to walk down to the springs. Didn’t get much sleep. We are in WA just crossed a few days ago Still a few more eps to come from NT tho👍
Great episode guys. Mataranka is on my bucket list too 👌🏼 I was wondering how much water you are carrying and if it is easy to find places to refill with drinking water. Thanks heaps 😊
Hey mate we carry 30lt inside the car in 3 10lt containers and 2x22lt water Jerry’s on the rear we have lately only been filling one jerry up and barley touching the 30ltrs inside the car if we are going remote and know we won’t be seeing a caravan park for a while we will fill everything up and take no chances because you just don’t know what will happen. It has been very easy finding water we have not had any problems with that.
Legends. We have been following you guys for a coupla weeks and would love to know where the kitchen sink came from on your back door!? If you get in to Darwin I'm the troopy with the number plate "beers"
@@itsJackandMegan thanks guys. Unfortunately you've arrived in the NT with the rest of the covid traffic and we are packed out. Hopefully you still get to see some beautiful sights
Loving your vids but saddens me to see the crowds at many of the places ive previously visited and had the place to myself, Im going to stay home and wait a while until everyone has "done their lap".and starts heading OS again Probably about 18 months away when there will likely be a massive glut of 4x4/touring vehicles and camper trailers/ caravans hitting the market with massive discounts!
Great stuff again guys. I'm with you on the swimming with heaps of people in the water, no thanks!! The early morning scene in the springs looked like the scene out of Cocoon with all the oldies! Catch you next episode.
Cheers for watching 😊 been loving getting the drone up lately it’s really the only way we can show what’s around! Hopefully it will all be over soon and you will be able to get out and explore👍😊
Yeah, certainly not a fan of the crowds either. We love going to "out of the way" places (often on our own for days) but that is changing very quickly, which is kinda sad.
We have the alu-cab roof conversion so our bed pulls down from above. If you skip to the second half of this video it shows it more in depth- th-cam.com/video/ERSrpgOe9H0/w-d-xo.html
Hey Ade, the guy had to wait behind us for 5 minutes at the fuel station whilst I was inside paying for the fuel. It was a very busy fuel station and I had nowhere to park after I filled up- normally I’d move the car so the next person can start filling. After paying I came out and the guy was standing there arms crossed I said sorry mate and he lost it using every swear word in the book. The Troopy took a little while to start up when I got back in after that😉😉
You guys make us smile, thanks be safe.

Cross the border from where? Pretty sure the NT border is closed thanks to interstate pandemic.
Hey mate from Queensland into the NT. This video was was filmed about 3 weeks ago when there were no restrictions in place.
Chasing the bloody flies and u stop for lunch beside all the garbage bins go figure
Haha yeah that was a mistake 😂
