@chronocommander007 so I pick my fingernails. It doesn't interfere with my ability to put together models or play video games, which is what this channel is all about. But, again, if that's where you draw the line, that's fine. I'm sorry you're going to miss out on some fine models. But maybe, if your interest is in models and well-kept fingernails, check out World of Wayne. His channel may be more to your liking.
@@TheModelGamer You are putting yourself out there for people to see what you are doing, proverbial warts and all. Those nails are so distracting that it's hard to focus on anything anything else. Judging by the number of comments you have gotten in regard to this I would say you may want to consider if maybe you should do something about the issue if you want people to not get distracted. You could wear thin gloves. I'm no trying to piss you off but if you think the appearance of your fingers is irrelevant I would argue it is relevant if said appearance becomes the focal point of the comments rather than the build.
You may have a point. I've been doing these videos for a few years and haven't had anyone complain about my fingernails. Yes, I do have a habit of biting my nails, so maybe that is something to work on. But I feel my videos are about more than just my fingernails. But again, if people want to focus on that aspect alone, I can't stop that. So, if you give my content a shot and like it, great. But if anyone just can't get passed my fingernails, I'd recommend checking out World of Wayne. He does these models as well, so...maybe his videos will be more to the liking of those concerned with fingernails.
It depends. They give you two options: a 12 pack option and a 21 pack option. Obviously, since they charge you per stage, the 12 pack option is going to cost you more. But you'll get more to do on a regular basis. For me, I went with the 21 month option. As for cost, after you get all the new customer discounts on the first two packs, for the 12 month option, it's $152 monthly, and for the 21 month, it's $86.75 monthly.
@@TheModelGamer So the 12 month plan comes to $1,824.00 and the 21 month kit comes to $1,821.75. Unfortunately that's a bit to steep for my current financial abilities, but I'll keep it in mind for the future. Thanks.
You gotta look at it from a different perspective. When you look at the total cost, then yes, you're spending over $1000 on a model. However, you pay that OVER TIME. You don't have to come up with the whole $1k+ all at once. You get something each month to do, and, in the end, you wind up with an AMAZING model. I'll put it this way. IF you're looking into some kind of subscription box type thing, this is definitely one where you'll get the bang for your buck. But if you're not actually in the market for a subscription box, then this won't sway yiu.
I hope you do. I was skeptical, but believe me, it's great. Meanwhile, hope you enjoy the videos of my builds. Maybe they'll help you decide on what you should start with.
Thanks! You've been a treasure ever since this channel really took off. Yeah, I don't get where the comments are coming from. But a few people out of over 1000 viewers? It's no big deal. Fingernails. Lol.
Yeah. Only in the scenes where you see me. I noticed that. The actual build parts come in clear, though. It's something I'm working on. Visual fidelity is the next thing for me to work on for the channel. I've been focusing on sound quality, and I think I've got that. I always appreciate feedback and will be working to improve it.
Get ready to spend a 1000 dollars of 3rd party 3D printed parts to even getting it remotely accurate....then when finished....you will never be able to leave the front unsupported...or it will droop...
You should be a hand model.
You flatter me. Thank you for the compliment.
Don’t worry about the blurry camera worry about those fingernails 😊
Lol. Might just be my lighting.
@@TheModelGamer No, it's just that a bunch of weasels have been gnawing on your fingers.

Looks good. How many packs does it take to finish the model and what does each pack cost?

I've got my eyes on a few things. Nothing too crazy. I'm not going totally nuts. Just a few add ons to make it pop.
can't watch for the nails, bro that's nasty
@johnhill4498 well, sorry you are so concerned about my nails that that's what matters to a model build.
I choked on my sandwich.
