Allegedly they scrapped the 2D Anime style because it was "too hard to animate Ladybug's spots" or something, plus Thomas always goes on and on about how "anime cliché" it would have been. Idk about anyone else but my thoughts were "so don't write it to be anime cliché." but PSA Bridgette was a fan name, you may hear people use it a lot but she was always Marinette, as confirmed by Thomas Astruc.
The version of the episode released on Disney+ has the scene when Thomas sits on the cake, eats the macaron and has an allergic reaction removed, I'm not sure why though.

Kind of surprised no one brought up the fact that when Marinette transformed into Ladybug, her hair went back to her pig tails instead of the maid bun she had when in Kwami Buster instead of sticking to her pig tails when transforming into Multimouse her hair turned into twin buns. Guess it may have to do with the magic of the Miraculous that in order to keep the identity a secret from someone it may make a minor change to the holder's appearance like say with there hair. Star Trek did exactly the same in 1966, using segments of its first pilot episode "The Cage" (1964) in an episode entitled "The Menagerie." Actually, the macaroon that Marinette made for Adrien was actually left in the table where Kagami almost sat down on the chair, which is when Thomas(cartoon show one) found it and ate it but then he had an allergic reaction that scared kids and tried yelling why there was peanut(i think) in the macaroon when he said he was allergic to it. No one listened though because he was ignored then he sat down on a char that had a chocolate cake on it from Adrien. so yeah, that is what happened to the macaroon

Actually, the macaroon that Marinette made for Adrien was actually left in the table where Kagami almost sat down on the chair, which is when Thomas(cartoon show one) found it and ate it but then he had an allergic reaction that scared kids and tried yelling why there was peanut(i think) in the macaroon when he said he was allergic to it. No one listened though because he was ignored then he sat down on a char that had a chocolate cake on it from Adrien.
so yeah, that is what happened to the macaroon
