I feel like Marinette gets too much shame for this she had *time* to give out all those miraculouses and Cat Noir wasn't there it's not really her fault if her and her friends are saving Paris and he just doesn't show up and I get that her freaking out on cat Noir and yelling at him as bad but to be fair she does have minimal time to transform and he shows up after they've defeated everyone
I can definitely see both perspectives
The fandom rightfully calls her out because the show doesn’t. As you have seen , she didn’t even bother to apologize for what she did and the show pretended she did nothing.
He wanted to lessen her burden and be there for her but she was being unreasonable and took her anger out on him unfairly. There was no excuse for her behavior and his offer would have cut her time in half so her refusal didn’t even make sense specially when she was pretending “It’s a waste of time”. Also, can we talk about how much of a hypocrite she is? Pretending getting the miraculous is the “Guardian’s job” when she has been doing it way before she became a guardian and Master Fu , who was the guardian at the time , didn’t collect those miraculous but entrusted her to do it. Now she pretends it’s the guardian’s job …
She practically told him to get lost and stop wasting her time. He gave her what she wants and stopped wasting her time. She’s giving miraculouses left and right and center. She was shouting to the world he’s nothing special and like any other holder. She was using five heroes to stop a baby they easily stopped alone before. He felt unneeded, disposable and all he manages to do was anger her even when he tries to kindly offer his help to her and bites his head off in return . That’s why he left.He simply felt like he’s worthless and adds nothing to the team and still he apologized at the end while she didn’t even bother to apologize. He shouldn’t even accepted to come back in the first place let alone apologize. He had every right to leave.
How do you react to someone pretending keeping identities a secret is so important but then you discover they shared their identity behind your back and let others share their identity behind your back? She was singling him out without explaining the reason and when he tries to help she lashes out at him and takes her anger out on him. She was turning into Gabriel with all the control freak persona and gaslighting and lying and hypocrisy. He was apologizing and admitting his mistakes while she pretends she did nothing wrong. 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t hate Marinette and never did. I just want the show to actually calls her out for what she does because most of the time she gets away with worse things while she throws others in trash for less.

We did see 2 perspectives in Lies and Truth
I think one thing that's definitely vital is that we, as the audience, know SO much more then the characters in-show do. Ladybug is projecting hard on Cat Noir her own desire to be able to skip the occasional Akuma Attack and just not have her life plans uprooted. But the Ladybug miraculous is absolutely vital and she hands out the other ones besides, so she gives him what she wants, relying on others more to ease his burden, not even considering for a moment that he doesn't consider Cat Noir to be a burden at all
Yea I think it’s great character writing for ladybug to be projecting onto Chat Noir and assuming he feels burdened by the pressure like she does. That causing a conflict like this is great, but I think that by the end of the episode it should have been explained to her that Chat is unhappy with his home life and views Chat Noir as an escape from it. Plagg could have told her that instead of just bringing up how he’s in love with ladybug, but that would probably make ladybug want him to have the ring back and this prevent the cat walker plot from happening. I’m not too against scrapping that plot, but if they really wanted the cat walker thing to happen they could have had Chat Noir explain how he feels at the end instead of just not addressing it. Unless they really need to make more plots in the future about this same misunderstanding (which would get old really fast) there’s no reason not to clear things up by the end of this episode.
That’s just an excuse. She wasn’t trying to lessen his burden and she knows quite well his time with her is when he’s most happy because he said those words to her in Gamer2 and many other instances.
@@aceofspades8474 Cat Noir already told her. She’s just using the “less burden” thing as an excuse. She wasn’t trying to lessen his burden she was trying to keep him as an outsider with a leash because she’s that controlling.

I love this one. You can even argue that Adrien got a costume upgrade on this one. I mean he didn't but seeing Adrien in a different version of his suit like Alya did is really great. The creators can really go out when comes to designs. I use Doll Divine's Sailor Moon dress-up game number 3 back when adobe was still working just to get some ideas of what hero costumes would look like if one gets different animals.

Kuro Neko was super packed, at least I hope that this episode and the impact it has will still exist when season 5 comes around. As in I hope Ladybug truly will appreciate Cat Noir more especially with what happened in Kuro Neko and Cat Blanc

@@86thfloor2 I think, this is just an idea I heard from somewhere, but it would be cool if Ladybug had a slightly newer look that came whenever she transformed, rather than it being when she uses her Lucky Charm. Like imagine how cool it would be to see Ladybug in a slightly newer version of her normal outfit, but it’s always present rather than just being whenever she uses her power. That would be cool

Marinette has a LOT on her plate but I really do think she mistreated Cat Noir - as a partner; not because he's in love with her.
It's good that they now have a team to rely on when Cat Noir can't come on time, but she shouldn't disregard him.
He may act like a clown, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been doing a fantastic job at being Cat Noir. Plus, though he can't purify akumas, he is her counterpart, the Yin to her Yang, handpicked by old and wise Master Fu. He deserves more consideration, respect and appreciation.
I really hate how Ladybug treats Cat Noir sometimes. Remember when LB gave away Master Fu's identity and Hawkmoth got his hands on almost all the Miraculous and found out the holders' identities? She messed up BIG time. But what did Cat Noir do? He SUPPORTED and ENCOURAGED her! He may annoy her sometimes, but I'd love to see some of that energy from LB instead of constant irritability and superiority complex.

@@JustGre3d He can. But, he can't reverse the damage that was caused by the akuma. It is just sad that people are saying that Cat Noir is not as important as Ladybug because she has the powers to reverse the damage and purify the akuma. Let's not forget that Ladybug can't do everything by herself. Cat Noir is supposed to be her equal and yet he does not get the appreciation he deserves, not even the people in the show appreciate Cat Noir enough.

The show wants us to believe that he’s required but he really not. Something they could’ve done to make him actually NEEDED was have the akumatized object need to be cataclysmed for it to be destroyed. That way you actually need both ladybug and cat noir

Loved this reaction episode. Plagg literally just bullied Tikki into lying to Marinette LOL. But it felt like Ladybug didn't really apologise at the end though for not treating Cat Noir as an equal ughhh. At least she does in Strikeback. Maybe you should react to Sole Crusher next if you want, it's a really good episode.

I feel the voice Bryce Papenbrook is doing here for Cat Walker is similar to the voice he does for Theodore the Velvet Room attendant from the persona series.

There's a thing that people should understand that it's both their fault that they haven't got a time to talk or planned to have a proper talk or communication yet and since s5 open for some more thing maybe we could get more of that in s5

GUYS there is this theory going around about the masks from the Masquerade ball in 'Gabriel Agreste' being the miraculous that person will be given in S5!
Ex: Amelie (Felix's mom) wore a bunny mask,
Bob Roth had a pig mask,
Audrey Bourgeois had a tiger mask,
Tomoe Tsurugi wore a dragon mask.
I really like that theory, because we had very suspicious cutaways to specifically THOSE characters in Feast when they were talking about the temple and the miraculouses! It could be that!

This is one of my favorite episodes and it's interesting seeing Ladybugs reaction to Cat Walker Vs. Cat Noir. I'm glad she finally realized what an awesome partner in Cat Noir she has. I also loved Adrian's upgrade and Plagg helping him out. You guys did a great job reacting! Can't wait for the next one! 😊👍🐱🐞

OK so I was eating lunch while watching this and when the scene with the sad violin and Adrien throwing away his plagg stuff and plaggs cheeses, I choked on my food like I’m not joking, I full on started like coughing because that sad violin just made me crack up

One of things we should remember is the characters perspective, when Lb is on the news she’s trying to reassure the people of Paris , she is a legit teenager with the fate of the world , she can’t reveal her identity bc if hawk moth got one of them he’d win. Master Fu really was like “guess I’ll entrust the fate of the entire universe onto a 13 year old kid and leave her with no support systems.” Couldn’t have just trusted the miraculous to adults who would be more mentally stable and more powerful, because if he did that they might have actually been able to retrieve the butterfly and peacock miraculous by now and then we wouldn’t have a show.
Marinette is doing this to herself. It is her choice. She was already offered by Su Han to hand over the box but she refused. She wanted it. Master Fu used to let her help him in everything but she’s too controlling she wants to do everything herself. It is her choice. There is a thousand way for her to delegate including the one Cat Noir so kindly suggested but she harshly threw it in his face. Marinette is choosing this and then she blames others and takes her anger out on them.

Here's all I have to say. It seems like a lot of people use the same reasoning for we should cut Ladybug some slack, that reasoning being that she is now the guardian of the miracle box. And you see, that would work.... if it weren't for the fact that she is making it more stressful for herself by using more hero's than necessary. This would be different if Shadow moth started scaling up his attacks by adding by making multiple villains at a time, but that just isn't the case. Theres also the fact that the villains that she is now leading an entire group of hero's in in order to take down are the same ones that she and Chat Noir have taken down multiple times by themselves, thus leading her to get stressed out about getting the miraculous back on time. She doesn't want to be super stressed out? If only there were someone that you've been working with from day one who is always there willing to help you. But on the off chance that they are not there one time (Cough..Cough, Ephemeal, Cough..Cough) it means they committed the ultimate taboo sin and now either have to be exposed, or have their Miraculous taken away. But I'm sure theres nobody like that.....right?

Maybe they’re talking about after cat walker cataclysmed it preventing it from being controlled, but they say it like it never listened despite the fact it should be compelled to listen to whoever has its amok.

One might summarise this episode thus: Cat Walker = order brought to chaos; Cat Noir = chaos brought to order. Ladybug = order, when she has her head together, therefore she needs a counterbalance, and Cat Noir fits the bill much better.

And that actually makes a lot of sense if you consider that the Vulcans repress their emotions, just as Adrien is trying to do in order to avoid reverting to his usual Cat Noir personality and giving the game away.

the amount of times marinette repeats how her perfect cat noir wouldn't be in love with her... while i do feel for her, it doesn't mean she can just choose someone else completely unattached both to her and the miraculous?? like just because she and cat noir kind of fell into the roles doesn't mean she shouldn't, you know, inform ppl about what the role of superhero entails??? the risk involved????

ayo i’m bouta be super pretentious but it always makes me sad when adrian looks at his hands when he’s depressed cause he knows that his power is to destroy anything with hands and he’s spent his entire life as an enabler blaming himself for his trauma subconsciously, when adrien looks at his hands when he’s sad especially in this episode. it’s guilt, he believes he’s destroyed his relationships, with his father, with his friends and with ladybug. his self hatred draws him too his hands because he fears he’s only capable of destruction

The amount of hate ladybug got in this vid PLSSS- 😭😭 I half agree tho! She handled it poorly and even through out the episode the only reason she said no one could replace him was bc when she tried she caught feelings and not that she really missed him which ticked me off. She reacted poorly to him for a while too which is annoying but im also like- why did master fu, someone who’s over 100 years old think it was smart to leave all this responsibility on this 14 year old girl to save the whole world with no help??? I really like the Cat Walker look. Also mixed on the green. Maybe have it a lighter shade, almost emerald. Really hope it comes back. Hopefully as a fusion of that look with Adrian’s true personality.

As much as I really do feel horrible for Chat Noir in this episode I would like to point out Ladybugs perspective about it cause I've done this a lot Ladybug has just picked up a difficult task (granted I know she didn't choose to be guardian but my point still stands) I do this a lot where I pick up a hard task and no matter how many times I'm offered help by the ones I care about I contently deny them and like Ladybug if they were to continue getting on my nerves about it I would snap. Now this is not me being like "Ladybug is an angel and can't do any wrong" I do agree she could've been a bit more polite about it and took notice of how Chat Noir was feeling And like I said I see Chats perspective to being left out is probably one of the worst feelings ever to me I like to look at both perspectives of arguments like this cause it better helps me understand the scene anyways I hope this makes sense
We hope this leads to a character development for the both of them 💖

I think miraculous ladybug is a tiny bit overrated I mean I ant no hater so someone gets angry and they get akumatized by hawk moth and ladybug and cat nor fight a lil bit Kowa and she caches the akuma and at the end of eeeevry episode hawmoth is angry
Yes, it's what happens to their everyday lives, because it's about them being a hero and of course, the kwamis. But if you watch more closely, you'll also see character development, love blossoming, and friendship deepening. 😊

Ladybug was really in a tough spot this whole season, she clearly developed ptsd in Chat Blanc which has influenced her actions. Shes definetly made mistakes but so has Chat, LB had no other choice than to find a replacement. You can tell she didn't want to but considering the situation she can't just dwell on her emotions. I also believe that yes, the identity reveal being dragged on is annoying but ladybug not wanting to know his identity is understandable. In Chat Blanc all that she knows that caused him to be akumatized is that he knew her identity and she knew in ephemeral that her learning chats identity caused sass to use his powers. Its a tricky spot for both side and at the end of the day they're kids, kids with the power to end the world if they screw up. Ladybug being ladybug is a burden on her while Chat being chat its a blessing

I think it's a valid idea to prevent any one person from knowing the identity of every miraculous holder, but there is a better solution! Have Cat Noir choose a new holder for a new miraculous that Ladybug doesn't know the identity of and then Ladybug and Cat Noir can know each others' identity.
But we saw before the outcome when they learned each other's identity 🤔
Cut ladybug some slack it's not her fault that she calls other superheros when Chat Noir is always late or heck doesn't even show up to help with akumas!
