This song has so much meaning for me. It was played at my dads funeral. He was a truck driver for 40+ years and always referred to his truck as his "steel horse". He made so many friends all over the country from driving. Today would have been his 75th birthday!! Great reaction!!!

I used to have a mad crush on Jon back in the day! I love that he’s been married (to his high school sweetheart) for over 30 years. He’s a good guy! Does a lot of work with the homeless!
It's a song about touring. The steel horse is a tour bus. Fans want to see him "dead or alive". "I play for keeps because I might not make it back" is how musicians never are sure if they'll tour again on a new album. He really has seen "a million faces & rocked them all". He's toured in over 50 countries, played to millions of fans every year & sold over a hundred million records. It's about the grind of being on the road & the video portrays that grind. And he's STILL cranking out new music. The newest Bon Jovi album dropped this week. 2020.
My favorite part of Bon Jovi songs is Richie's background singing. His voice is great and sounds phenomenal on this, "Bed of Roses and I'll Be There For You"
Richie Sambora singing is so underrated but was very awesome in this. Than concert was off the chain. Amazing. I'd Die For you and Bed of Roses were a few other amazing songs from them.

Love watching you hear great songs for the first time! It brings me back to when I discovered them too. I've heard (and played) this song 1000 times. But that first few times....
It used to be used as the theme song for the tv show "Deadliest Catch" as well as being in another show, "Supernatural", that show tends to have a lot of good music in it, and in yet another show, "Miami Vice" as well as the movies "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man", "Wild Hogs", and Scooby Doo2: Monsters Unleashed", and finally in the video game "Grand Theft Auto 4 The lost and damned".

the first time i heard this was when a friend of mine played it on his acoustic guitar. blew my mind lol, went straight home and started up limewire xD
So much more to find with Bon Jovi. He released a new video during the pandemic. A song he wrote but also asked his fans for lyrics about their experiences with the pandemic. It's called Do What You Can. Even if you don't react to it I highly recommend listening to the song.
Im about to drop a name for reactions that, to my knowledge, no one has done:
Chris Daughtry. Tennessee Line, Call Your Name, It's Not Over, Drown In You, No Sutprise, What About Now?, Gone, Life After You, What Have We Become, and Feels Like Tonight.
Ahh, all-time favorite of this genre! It's reminiscent to Kid Rock's "Cowboy"
Saw them twice awesome show my first concert i was 13. Bon jovi opened for ratt then saw them at 15 awesome show i miss those days
I still have the LP mini with this on one side, and Blaze of Glory on the other side. My sister bought it when it got out, forgot it when she moved out, and I now own it.
