Love the video! Lots of good info since I haven’t found a lot on these stoves in depth like you do so thank you for that! That vent on the front top is to keep the glass clean when it reaches a certain temperature I just burnt mine in today can’t wait to try it out in my new circle 6
I just found your channel and subscribed, nice stove you have there. I have a Dweller Max 2 and I like it a lot. I'm from Chile so we're getting close to summer and it's getting hot. Until next winter, when I can go hot tent camping, watching this videos is the best I can do haha. All the best from Chile.
Have a dweller stove and so far is my favorite one. Got it this summer and been testing it this fall/winter. Got lucky saw mine on Amazon for $200 as was phasing out the older model
@ plus the pull out tray mine can’t pull out unless door open. Not a big deal. Would love the dweller 3 as is bigger then mine but can’t see spending more for it
It really depends on how you load it really, I have the Dweller 2, I bought it last year and I didn't have any issues with wood rolling out front. Sure I would've liked a deeper burning area or side loading for that matter, for as long as you're not loading the stove to the top (and opening the door while still having logs burning on top, by which point you really do not need to load more wood) You'll be fine.
Can cut a cookie sheet to fit underneath if clever. Catch anything falling out. Adventurers with Spackman did a video with this stove and making a tray
@@kokadjooutdoors620 Yeah that tray in his video turned out nicely. Before I got my stove I bought an over tray and did the same, but as mentioned before, I haven't had issues with wood falling out of the stove.
