George I think I saw a speck of dust right below the badge on the 18,just kidding I don’t want you to fall down running down to the drum room the drums sound marvelous look marvelous and to have the best Bonham player that Iv ever seen behind the kit is just the total package.
The live 1975 performance on Zeps DVD was awesome. I remember hearing Bonham nailing those floor toms towards the end of this song and my old stereo speakers bottoming out the bass on the 18 floor tom.
Very,very....very GREAT JOB ,bro.....this song is so HARD to play.....only those who love BONZO and the Drums can fully understand the difficulty of performing this masterpiece.... you have all my admiration!. I'm trying to start playing drums again after 20 years and seeing your videos is helping me a lot. Thanks 👍. ( sorry my poor " English "...i m Italian)
The drums sound fantastic! Nice job of tuning! And your timing is impeccable, which is TOUGH when there's that much open space. Plus, a lot of those transitions are about as subtle as a brick wall at 100 mph. Bravo, my friend! Your dedication to your craft is very apparent.
Wow George you really captured Bonham in this live version. Bonham really added some marvellous little changes to this song, showing just how good he was as a drummer. Dont think anyone except you George couldve pulled this off. Awesome job. Bonham was one of a kind for sure.
This is my favorite LZ song. Always has been. Your snare stand looks like it could topple over at anytime. I love that fact Bonham had two crashes, and one ride. That's it, nothing more.... (well, until later). Also, how effing strong does that cymbal lug on the kick drum have to be in order to hold a huge 24" ride that is getting beat to death!!??
@@BONHAMOLOGY Most welcome. Love your own stamp underneath all of this as well my friend. All modern rock drummers know who the mold maker was. RIP Bonzo
To any haters....do you even think Bonham would play the same note for note..take a fn pill and relax..seen hundreds of vids, this guy is about as good can get get the texture sublety and feel and power swing of Bonham
Say I just started listening heavily to Steve Miller Band again recently and wow Gary Mallaber is the man! That guy can groove! Would you consider doing a cover of Fly Like An Eagle? I can picture you nailing that song with the same feel. Great video as always.
The studio version of this is in my opinion Led Zeppelin’s greatest studio performance.
Just subscribed! Holy shit that was amazing! I would love to jam with you ! lol. you know how to "deliver the mail" nice drum kit!
Sorry George, just now I noticed that this is a live version.
You do what others don't even suspect in terms of rhythms of LZ.
Thanks once again.
The man the legend George Fludas ❤👍 love the new kit.
Ridiculous how legit this kit sounds like Bonham’s!! ❤️🥁❤️
Good and proper tuning works like magic to every kit! ❤
great! the older i get the more meaningful this song becomes.

You saw me wipe that off! Lol.
@@BONHAMOLOGY If that was my kit I’d be sleeping next to it. lol.

I really like your rug
Oriental? Persian? Turkish?
Incredible performance.... also terrific drum sound, those drums and cymbals sound like the seventies.... Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
The 70s ruled, big open projecting sound all around the kit.
Great George!!!! , was wondering if you will ever do an Achilles Last Stand cover from either June 21st or June 22 in LA!!
I'll try to do that at some point
Those toms and bass sound like thunder rolling over the mountains or cannons in the distance. Just powerful.
This was amazing. Jimmy was having a very good night. I like how you're not simply "playing along" but leading just as it was done originally.
Thanks!

No turning back now the sound of Vistas where the big kit plays you. You have tuned to Thunder. Thanks for showing us how you like it Big Boda Boom 💥

Wild stuff man. Made my evening.
Great job. Love the 14 tom with less lugs. Looks and sounds better
Yes, me too!
That's the" Baby Bonham" Vistalite kit. They all had bigger tom toms except for that and the Green Sparkle.

Thank You So Much George 🤩❤️
Brilliant Stuff..🔥
Absolutely Perfect Once Again 😁👍
the big compressed crash on the 4 chord of the fast part - perhaps greatest moment/sound in music/mankind.
(Referring to original recording - hope that was clear)

Great tuning brother.
