U r an inspiration to millions of people the world over. Not just muslim women but women of various religions & cultures. Muslim women, dressed in the hijab, are leading the worldwide struggles against exploitation/degredation by men (& women). An informative & inspiring discussion.

Those who have Hayaa (modesty and shyness) are recognisably different and special from those who have little or no Hayaa.
Just remember that from all the companions, the one who was most well known for this characteristic was not a woman but a man, 'Uthmān Ibn 'Affān may Allah be pleased with him.
As the prophet praised him (Uthman) by telling Abubakar ibn Siddiq ; “Should I not feel shy before a man whom the angels feel shy from?” 📚 Sahih Muslim 2401
This should be a huge lesson and challenge for brothers, and an even bigger lesson and challenge for sisters. And nowadays, Hayaa / Modesty is a trait which most people lose because of Social Media.

،:°` Islam has elevated women through the right of inheritance, kinship, property and work that does not affect their dignity - Islam has criminalized the exploitation of their beauty and neglect in old age, despite these rights being deliberately distorted to limit Western women’s turn to Islam due to their feeling of safety and respect, especially in old age (by comparison.. )

،:°` Islam sets a purpose for
life It is a comprehensive lifestyle - based on justice and equality - it carries solutions to all life's problems - suitable for every time and place, free of contradictions and myths - it rejects all forms of religious and class distinction
    - He holds the scientific lead (the stages of fetal development - the ascent into space ... and) supported by logic. Reason - enable yourself to hear it to realize the truth - by comparing it with other holy books, will you find the true religion?,

Religion religion religion ..... Too much religion in everything is a disaster. Just one look across the world - and there are everyday examples and everyday sufferings due to too much religion.

Frankly speaking, this interview sounds like the feminine wing of the Muslim brotherhood. I'm surprised she couldn't find a single positive thing to say about the fashion industry!? She's world famous & probably made herself rich...but now all of a sudden she found reasons to piece on the "industry".
But why complain about the fashion industry "trying to change your identity"? It looks like she wanted the fashion industry to fit her whims instead of the other way round? Has the fashion industry not shown progress to allow her to wear Hijab and long dresses? Plus, things take a long time to evolve. How about appreciate that part before trying to play the victim and minority card. Or is she now simply demanding for the Taliban style full body cover? If that's the case, then I would advice her to go ahead and create a "Halal" fashion line.
Trying to equate Kim Kardashian wearing that weird piece of cloth on the run way with a Muslim woman wearing a similar thing on public spaces on everyday bases are NOT one & the same. And she should know that. That's called "false equalization" on so many levels.

    • @quranchannel4622

Funny you can pick on her all things you seem to disagree with her and not one thing that you agree with her. You wanted Halima to say nice things about the Fashion industry while you can not say one nice thing about her.
      Too much nonsenses you say!
