This looks like the perfect cardigan to wear to a bonfire to keep your back and shoulders warm on a chilly evening. So I’m adding this one to my goals. I just purchased the pattern, because I am absolutely crazy about it. I am a beginner knitter, and don’t even know how to crochet yet! I’m still working on Sonder (it has a few, erm, “unintentional design modifications” - but hopefully not too many 😅). Sonder is the first piece I’m doing that’s not a simple rectangular scarf. So, it’s ambitious that I’ve downloaded Almond Flowers, but I plan to do it!

I've never tried Tunisian crochet, but I've wanted to for quite some time now. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to go out and buy new tools. I didn't realise I could do at least some of it with the hooks I already have. How exciting! I even have some of the Alpaca Silk Lace yarn in stock. Granted, it's currently being used for a vintage jumper that's been in timeout for a while, waiting for me to decide if I want to keep going with it. (Something about it is making it just not fun to knit, but the pattern is gorgeous.) I might just have to frog that and make this instead! Either way, it's going on my list! This crochet cardigan is stunning, and a must to do. The instructions you have given are wonderful, I have only tried tunisian crochet when i was making a hat and it was great to do. This would be a challenge for me to do, but after watching your instructions it will be something I would need to try sometime.

Truly appreciate this helpful tutorial, but I think we would all really appreciate a tutorial on joining the belt, border, and neckline. My expertise ends with the crochet. Perhaps those who sew and/or make garments will not have difficulty, but I'm afraid I couldn't follow the joining instructions. The rest is straightforward, and the result is stunning. I just need a little help to get there.

@@ExpressionFiberArtsI was actually going to say the same thing. The joining seems complicated and I'm a fairly advanced crocheter. I sew just fine but what happens when you stop the pattern 10 rows short like you did in the sample? Does that change the size of the neck/border etc?
Another beautiful design. I stumbled upon Tunisian crochet when I was in middle school. I am wracking my brain trying to remember how I found the stitch and learned it without the internet. LOL
