I find it hard to pick a favourite season. Each one brings something different to be thankful for and to find happiness in. Winter is a time for rest and regeneration after a long year and before the new one begins. Spring brings hope and growth and new beginnings. Summer sunshine makes my heart feel as large and full as the sun and Autumn brings the bountiful harvest and begins the wind down into winter again. You often remind us that we only ever have the moment we are living and I am grateful to be alive to embrace every moment I can ❤

I actually really love winter. I don't know a lot of people who love winter, but something about the quiet, cold mornings, being bundled up and sipping hot cocoa, and watching the world take a bit of a nap to have the energy to jump into spring also recharges me. I love the longer nights and the quieter streets earlier in the evenings. I love seeing the deer and their babies perusing across our lawn.

My favorite season is fall. I love the smell of the air, how the breezes turn the leaves into little "flying faeries", and how fun it is to watch the squirrels scampering to play and collect acorns for the winter months.
I just love how we can put different colors together and achieve so much beauty! Spring has to be my fav season.... planting out or preparing cool weather veggie plants.... the little crocus flowers poking their little heads out for the first time, the return of chickadees etc....

Fast forward to the present day & now living in Florida, I so look forward to the fall... with changing cool weather and sitting outdoors to crochet or knit makes my heart happy.

I'm a solitary person so winter is my season and I'm a February baby. I used to make igloos with my dad when I was a child in Pennsylvania and we would make all these tunnels too to connect the igloos. Winter is a magical season. :)

What a gorgeous shawl pattern! I love that it’s worked from one side to the other so that it grows as you go, but then reached that point where it starts to shrink again. I think something I struggle with when making shawls is that they often just grow, so by the end each row takes me much much longer and sometimes my attention struggles to get through that. I’m another autumn lover, when I was a teen it was because of the clothes/accessories. Scarves, boots, a warm coffee cup in my hand and the crisp air. Nowadays I love it for some of the same reasons, but I have the added perk of watching the trees in my little woods change colors, taking my son to the pumpkin patch, baking goodies with apples from our trees and cranberries, and I still love those crisp autumn mornings with a warm mug in my hand. I love how every season has something unique to offer and the cycle of death and rebirth is a beautiful thing to observe.

I like all the seassons. Each of them has something amazing. I love autum because of the sun shinig in multi colored leaves. Each season is my favorite, as it shows up allowing me to bring nature more into my awareness and experience new possibilities. I love that Fall allows for warm drinks, wool accessories and calming times by the fire, either inside or in our rustic hand-built fire pit, just enjoying nature all around us. I live between Queensland, Australia and Papua New Guinea, and we only have two seasons - wet and dry. I love the wet season. Even though it floods (in both places) and my dogs trek mud through the house (in PNG), I looooooove the sound of rain hitting my corrigated iron roof. It is the best sound to fall asleep to.
I’m torn between Fall and Winter. I love when the weather gets cool and crisp and the leaves burst into brilliant golds and vibrant reds! I'm most definitely a summer baby, i love everything about summer, plants in full bloom, full greenery, all the wildlife is multiplied, baby birds have left the nests and other baby animals venture out with silkworm from the parents. It's just a magical time of year. I love all of your yarns, every time i see a new pattern i end up drooling at the gorgeous colours and the fibers, I'm in the UK so I'll definitely have to save up for a couple of months before i can purchase any though. Definitely young to try this pattern as something to have on the go while traveling, a nice easy one that you doesn't need you to reference a pattern every row.
I’m a Pennsylvania yankee living in Texas, so nothing feels better to me than the scorching heat of summer changing over to a more tolerable hotumn. When hotumn finally gives way to the bliss of 70’s in November-December-ish, I’m dancing with the joy of country living in incredible comfort 😂
My favourite season is autumn. Hubby and I got married on Halloween. We met on Halloween 1998, got together Halloween 2010 and married in 2015. I suffer intractable migraine meaning my attack is 24/7/365 and has been for 7y10m. He has been my rock and pushed me to learn crochet in April 2023 and I am so glad he did as it has been an amazing distraction technique and helps me cope with being bedbound

As someone who gets migraines as well (not intractable) I can imagine how awful that must feel constantly. I’m glad you found someone who supports you and cares for you and who helped you find a hobby that helps as well. My husband also encouraged me to learn crochet (I was always collecting yarn at thrift stores to make with a knitting loom, so one day he bought me a crochet hook because he thought I might enjoy it). I have Major Depression and when I was going through one of the worst bouts of my adult life, I decided to go for it and taught myself in a weekend back in 2021. Almost exactly 3 years later and my mental health has significantly improved and I’m almost constantly creating through crochet and now knitting as well. I’m sending out as much positive energy as I have that one day you and your doctors can find a better long term solution for your migraines and you’ll be able to thrive and not simply have to cope. 🩵
@@ConstantlyEvolvingDoor having someone who actively supports and encourages me has really helped me. Being in the uk I am yet to find a second hand or charity shop that has yarn. It is amazing what starting this craft has brought me. I am in several Facebook groups and discord communities for crochet and have had so much support both learning the craft and having a safe place to vent. I am so glad it has helped your depression. One of my first big projects was a shawl I did for myself I ended up making a second that was auctioned for charity. I have done a couple of amigurumi but shawls and blankets are what I get the most joy from.
I don’t have a favorite but I seem to find great joy in the coming of each season and great relief when they leave. Each one has wonderful moments and each one has its challenges. Seasons teach us that change is good.

I like all the seassons. Each of them has something amazing. I love autum because of the sun shinig in multi colored leaves. I love winter because of the snow covering averything around us with smooth, clean bright cover. I love spring because of the new refresh, gorgeous smell of first flowers, And I also love summer, exspecialy in garden, with all the plants growing and is warm to sit on the ground and relax
Each season is my favorite, as it shows up allowing me to bring nature more into my awareness and experience new possibilities. I love that Fall allows for warm drinks, wool accessories and calming times by the fire, either inside or in our rustic hand-built fire pit, just enjoying nature all around us.

I adore this color combination. My favorite season is spring. Everything is changing and growing back. I live in Florida and the summers can be a bit too hot. Spring is a nice time to enjoy nature without feeling uncomfortable.

I live between Queensland, Australia and Papua New Guinea, and we only have two seasons - wet and dry. I love the wet season. Even though it floods (in both places) and my dogs trek mud through the house (in PNG), I looooooove the sound of rain hitting my corrigated iron roof. It is the best sound to fall asleep to.

I'm most definitely a summer baby, i love everything about summer, plants in full bloom, full greenery, all the wildlife is multiplied, baby birds have left the nests and other baby animals venture out with silkworm from the parents. It's just a magical time of year. I love all of your yarns, every time i see a new pattern i end up drooling at the gorgeous colours and the fibers, I'm in the UK so I'll definitely have to save up for a couple of months before i can purchase any though. Definitely young to try this pattern as something to have on the go while traveling, a nice easy one that you doesn't need you to reference a pattern every row.
I’m a Pennsylvania yankee living in Texas, so nothing feels better to me than the scorching heat of summer changing over to a more tolerable hotumn. When hotumn finally gives way to the bliss of 70’s in November-December-ish, I’m dancing with the joy of country living in incredible comfort 😂
My favourite season is autumn. Hubby and I got married on Halloween. We met on Halloween 1998, got together Halloween 2010 and married in 2015. I suffer intractable migraine meaning my attack is 24/7/365 and has been for 7y10m. He has been my rock and pushed me to learn crochet in April 2023 and I am so glad he did as it has been an amazing distraction technique and helps me cope with being bedbound

As someone who gets migraines as well (not intractable) I can imagine how awful that must feel constantly. I’m glad you found someone who supports you and cares for you and who helped you find a hobby that helps as well. My husband also encouraged me to learn crochet (I was always collecting yarn at thrift stores to make with a knitting loom, so one day he bought me a crochet hook because he thought I might enjoy it). I have Major Depression and when I was going through one of the worst bouts of my adult life, I decided to go for it and taught myself in a weekend back in 2021. Almost exactly 3 years later and my mental health has significantly improved and I’m almost constantly creating through crochet and now knitting as well.
I’m sending out as much positive energy as I have that one day you and your doctors can find a better long term solution for your migraines and you’ll be able to thrive and not simply have to cope. 🩵
@@ConstantlyEvolvingDoor having someone who actively supports and encourages me has really helped me. Being in the uk I am yet to find a second hand or charity shop that has yarn. It is amazing what starting this craft has brought me. I am in several Facebook groups and discord communities for crochet and have had so much support both learning the craft and having a safe place to vent. I am so glad it has helped your depression. One of my first big projects was a shawl I did for myself I ended up making a second that was auctioned for charity. I have done a couple of amigurumi but shawls and blankets are what I get the most joy from.

My favorite is of course Autumn! Growing up, I learned that change was hard and I resisted it. I quickly learned as a teenager that this only leads to more pain. Autumn shows in so many wonderful ways that change truly is beautiful (maybe not always at first) and apart of life's order. I find joy in each season and missed them when I lived away from the US. But now that I live in the NC mountains, I thoroughly enjoy each one! If I had to pick a favorite though I would have to say Spring. I don't like the cold, but I love seeing new life coming from the nothingness that we feel during winter.
