Hey I’m getting mine back together after a chassis swap and I was wondering if there’s something on the bottom side of the front shock tower that the bolts thread into? I feel like I’m missing a piece
The top of the shock tower can be a little hard to install because you gotta make sure the shock towers sit in the grooves on the chassis properly and you put the bolt through the tower while the top of the shock holes are aligned between the tower and the chassis. The long bolt should just screw into the chassis with no issues. There is nothing on the bottom to secure the top shock tower.
I’m not sure of the stiff grade. I just know the springs are 1.2mm, 1.3mm, 1.4 mm. Ya they are pretty stiff. I just use the black ones. A little stiff but with all the weight added with 2 batteries seems ok
I usually just use an old toothbrush and some microfiber towel that’s wet and dry. But, I would take some of the parts off for the hard to reach places
How durable do it get? Seems like you have to spend a lot of money to make it durable but that it still won’t be as durable as its competitors like granite grom or mjx 14 series.
Can you add the list of upgrade part numbers to the transcript?
I have just added the parts list to the description, I believe that is all I have on there currently

Hi man, have you find the stiff grade of spring shock? You are the gpm? I also have a full set install but silver seem really hard spring?

Those wheels add a lot of un-sprung weight. I have a set and my diffs immediately took a hit.
Ya they’re pretty heavy for the merv. Puts a lot of stress on the driveline
Is what three s battery did you get to fit the box
what do you use to clean it? looks brand new

I had my car for about two months now and I’m really enjoying it but all these TH-cam videos show me that I’m supposed to clean my car, WHY

Arrma groms have the same issues if you make them brushless
Izdrzi 3s halo
Add a 30mm fan to the motor and problem solved.
Nice upgrades but its a 300 car with 300 in upgrades. Not a wise investment could gotten better car for 600 like an Arrma or Losi
That can be said about upgrading any car. Who cares if it’s a wise investment it’s called a hobby for a reason.
Cmon man, you’re not into rc’s if you’re not upgrading every car you have. Even my $60 Amazon drifter has upgrades, it’s part of it
@@davidhaynie9037 I love my MERV not enough to drop another 300 into it . Its fast but very fragile.
