Nice runs guys! I have a Erevo 1/16 also , cooler weather is always better , motor will run cooler and give better results, I’m using a 3S lipo in mine
The rear end will separate causing damage to your ring gear. On 3s there is too much power. Currently making a video on how to upgrade your 1/16 Erevo, all parts will be listed that you’ll need.
The two NiMh batteries were around the same runtime as the 2S lipo. I wanna say the 3S dies much faster. Also just depends if you are doing speed runs or just messing around.
@@redbanditracing Thanks for replying but the question was in parallel, not in series where it makes it 4S. So you're saying having more 'gas in the tank' with 4400mah at the same discharge rate as a single battery is bad? Unless I have that incorrectly.
I know this is an old comment, but yes you absolutely can run (2) 2S or (2) 3S packs in parallel on this car. I have the exact same setup and the only way I run it is with parallel 3S packs and I’ve never had a problem in several years of running it this way.
We run the two 3s parallel in the revo it’s runs with the slash ultimate on 3’s. The motor gets hot and we keep trashing rear differentials the A-arms and drive shafts are a constant replacement.
That lil Erevo is fast, that's awesome.

Weather looking better, we will definitely do another speed test.
Is there anything you need to upgrade to run the 3s lipo?

The best way to test the speed guys. One of you drive your car beside the RC mini car. Thank you again and God bless!
Watch out for the sewers
Vroooooommmm
Definitely cut the paper off. Thank you and God bless!
You guys have stickers.?
Yes we do, would you like some?
Please tell which connector did you use with lipo because I'm bad in English
When using a LiPo, use stock connector at ESC. You can’t use Dual LiPo’s
Thanks
I clip them tags off, it's just insurance for the company saying they warned if it blows up.
So if you run it in series you have to use the high speed gearing?
If you run two batteries in series, it’s going to give you more power, you don’t half to use the high speed gearing.
Oh it's because i bought the e revo vxl a week ago and it came with the high speed gearing and it says in the instructions that you need to install
I cut off those tags and the mattress police showed up!!??
Lol
Thing about mattress tag is the 10 year manufacture warranty that is standard is void without the tag. Not so sure bout the connectors lmao
Did you get about the same runtime with the two nIMH versus the 3S??
The two NiMh batteries were around the same runtime as the 2S lipo. I wanna say the 3S dies much faster. Also just depends if you are doing speed runs or just messing around.
How long does your 3s battery last when you are not doing speed runs
Hard to say, guessing around 20min if you’re constantly running it.
Is the speed test with the stock pinion or the speed one?
High speed, it comes stock with the high speed installed.
Swap out the pinion to a 23
What's the run time on the 3S battery? Also, can I run it with stock gearing?
The 3s lasted us 10-15min roughly, and yes it’s perfect with stock gearing.
Velcro insteag of clips
Great video. Is it possible to run the two 2S LIPO's in parallel using the same connector you used on the NIMH batteries?
You are not supposed to run dual LiPos, it could cause you to burn up the ESC.

Short answer… yes you can, Traxxas however, recommends the opposite, but they sell series/parallel connectors 🤐

Get some BSR Foams for it, you will gain around 10 mph
What is the difference between brushed vs brushless?
Honestly I’d google it haha, but you’re gonna get more performance out of brushless. Plus less maintenance.
stick 2 3s in it and put them together i bet 65mh
It’s highly not recommended running duel LiPos.

Where can I get those thumb wheels?
msmvlog.com Go to the store, he’s got newer thumb wheels now available.
@@redbanditracing thanks
