Andrew, I find more confidence and trust in letting you evaluate my mixes rather then any other dj i know, or even my closest friends.. It's about the atmospehere! That is what i've been trying to tell everyone, it's an art and you have indeed mastered it :)
Andrew is the man . 🎧 This channel is gold. I've learned so much in a small amount of time. Will be purchasing the course soon. Money well spent on a great teacher who cares about this community. Everyone here should take the course if you're watching his videos. It's the least we could do for him after teaching us on TH-cam for free!! 🙌 Also this is by far the most legit DJ channel on TH-cam. I resonate with Andrews style. Very professional. Conservative approach. Yet always fun, diverse and interesting. Some instructors push flashy tricks too much and thats just not necessary for most Djs IMHO. The message im getting from Andrew is song selection/crowd reading and creating the vibe is what's it's all about!!
I watch a few different DJ channels; I like bits and pieces of each but have to watch around to find everything I need. You're the first channel I've found which combines all the best bits of each with amazing content. Look forward to more of your videos. Subscribed!
I did mash up once, I did get great response how ever, with Rekord box & VDJ I’m now setting cue points & Hot cues for trance etc, so I know how long the song play for when transitions from or too the Hot cues, each hot cue in the tracks I can play either depending the mood and tension of the room & crowd
I'm an old school house, soulful disco, R&B vinly DJ. One technique I've used when mixing that music without significant intro,... I would mix a song in at the center or instrumental portion of the song,... then with another copy of the same song, mix in the song from the beginning.
Gold as always. One of your most helpful videos yet. Super relatable and relevant content. I've pretty much thought of nearly every situation/issue you've said at one point or another. What I really need is a video on how to mix very different BPMS like when going from hip hop/trap/dubstep at 80-100 bpm to house at 125 bpm. Like you pointed out in point 3 , you can't beat match those songs. You need to use more creative methods. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the most popular ways to do this is with scratch dropping and cue dropping.
I clicked to watch and wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised by presentation and some _great_ points were made! Good upload gonna checkout some more of your vids, anyways I subbed! ;]
Just got turned onto your channel and love it!! Im an old vinyl dj from before any of these controllers or computer programs existed and im impressed with how technology has changed the industry. Ive heard in some of your videos a Remix of "I've got the power" and can never read the screen to see who produced it. Could you tell me where I could find that edit?? Thanks so much in advance
Excellent stuff. Can you also tell us for pioneer stuff does the beat always have to exactly align? And generally what BPm difference is okay like 122 and 122.00(+-0.10)? What difference is okay?
Love the videos and the effort you have put in. Just a quick question. I use the eqs the same way as you use it. Take them all away. Bring up the volume and then work the eqs in but it seems like you can hear me do it when I play it back? Im I doing it to quick? The volume is all over the place. I mix trance music. Thanks do much. Great channel
Perhaps take a little more f the high out, in my experience the frequency that jumps out is the high, by "softening" the high, you soften the transition :)
@@ClubReadyDJSchool thanks so much. I've literally watched all your vids. They sre a massive help got my first gig in July. I will look into your course too but yes. Your tutorials have been great. Thanks alot
Would you be able to do a video or tell me which dj pools are your favorite, and why? I just started using dj pools, and signed up for digital dj pool. I don't see any "intro" versions that you're referring to. Are these only available on the 2 dj pools you mentioned in the video? Thanks!
@@ClubReadyDJSchool I'll have to take a look. Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to reply to both my questions. i just love you, no homo, amazing teacher, i will never forget i keep experimenting my style, and get the mix smooth and simple as possible, overkilling with fx, loops etc... is so random for me, i play 1 to 2 and 3, 2 same time maybe depends what track is what matches with nice beats and vocals
This guy's energy is top notch
No doubt! Would love to party with him.
Great vibes!
Finally someone who is answering all of the questions I’ve been trying to search everywhere, thanks!
And not with a closed minded, but with a creative approach. Best channel evah!
Seriously! Super relevant content.
Really wish you all the best for the future and whatever plans you have .I am 1 of many , that have benefitted from your videos.

How did the course go?
@@khostead_dj excellent. It's the most classic instruction on the art of DJing from a master
@@matthockman sounds perfect. Have you managed to get in at many clubs at all since taking the course?
How is all this info free? 😂
I've been thinking about getting your course since the first video I saw from you. This one convinced me.
Welcome to the team :)

your channel is amazing, nice to see high quality DJ tutorials. Keep at it man!
I'm currently learning and I do like alot of vocal driven tracks so this really helps. Some don't really have any drop off to mix out.
Pure experience! Thank you for always creating amazing and very useful content. 🙏
After watching a lot of your free videos it would just be stupid not to get your course, amazing teaching, and incredible positivity, thank you!
That'd be awesome!!!! Game changer time I promise :)
