Charlie is correct , usually we put rams in from September - November . We try to put a tup in in time for a late February early March lambing just when it starts to get warmer !

Yes! I agree with Josie and the way she views nature. Prior to having breast cancer I lived a very busy life and never stopped to enjoy the little things in life. I visualize nature soooo different now. I take walks and I admire looking at a tree that some may see as not so perky, but if I see a tree with a broken limb hanging down and a healthier branch I see it as the tree has rough seasons like we do. I see that broken limb being held up by the other like great friends in my life. My true balcony friends who hold me up in my bad seasons and don't look down on me.
All of us are GLIMMERing with this vlog, which I have enjoyed so, so much, after quite an even longer day!!! Now lunch and some relaxing time before bed. Thanks and Hugs from northern Spain once more

It’s a great idea to add quinoa to soup. It is literally so much tastier if you wash it first . It has a bitter film naturally on it .
I loved watching Dexter in the time-lapse sequence of cleaning out the greenhouse - just sitting there, in the same spot watching the goings on - watching just him I really couldn't tell that things were sped up because he hardly moved. 😂 So cute! His coat simply 'glimmered' in the sun. 😉

Ok this is for Charlie, pricking sausages reduces the possibility of their exploding, but is an UNNECESSARY step when your cooking high quality sausages, as much of their juices will seep out, resulting in dryer less tasty sausages!
I went to the dreaming retreat in June and we hugged trees in a forest bathing exercise. I was very cynical at first, but it was genuinely so grounding I got emotional, and I now do it when I’m stressed and it really does work - sounds mad, but I am totally on board with tree hugging!
You and Charlie are really inspiring me! I love how you both are thoughtful, detailed, living well, with great taste! Your synergy is inspiring as well.

Charlie is correct about the farmers control when to breed the cattle. I grew up on a dairy farm and my Dad would breed the cows on a schedule so we would always have fresh milk cows for the dairy.

Those pots aren't deep enough for the bulbs you've put in them - all bulbs need to be planted to 3 x their depth, even in pots. Looks like they're meant for little bulbs like crocus, muscari or miniature irises and daffodils - and yes, they DO need holes in the bottom for drainage!

When my son was very small, 3 years old, I would look out the window and he would be in the yard hugging trees. It was the cutest thing. He would say, mommy I love trees so I hug and hug them. He was so precious. To this day he loves being out in the country. We had a small country cottage at that time. We live outside if Pittsburgh, USA.

A bulb lasagne is in a deep pot with different bulbs at different depths depending on their flowering time. Hence lasagne, different layers of different things.

I Totally Enjoyed this video. It took me about 3 hrs. or more to watch it all the way through. Josie You inspired me so much today. As I watched I put it on pause and tried doing so many things you mentioned. Of course I realized half way through this was a number of days lol . I had a wonderful Sunday cooking and going through clothes and I even ran out when you were working on the plants and pots etc. I ran out and pulled all my sweet potato vine and put it in the compost.
I prepared dinner while waiting for it to cook I continued to accomplish so much. This is exactly what I needed on a gloomy Sunday In Chicago. There is a GLIMER of hope I can accomplish a lot thanks to your videos. I love watching them.
