I don't know the original music, but I guess this is a good interpretation ! The notes added on the different sequences are useful to understand how minimalist music is made. Thank's for that :)
I came to your channel cause of the BOC covers (which are special), but I subscribed cause of this one. Around about the 3 minute mark❤ Would love to hear how you would arrange PGs Mishima music
Not a bad point! In this case, the study was more about the composition and translating the piece for an instrument with different capabilities and limitations than a piano.
Well, “ played” is a little over exaggerated since you don’t really need your fingers when you were at the machine do by itself. You’re a push button object.
Philip Glass, like Bach, can be played on any instrument and it sounds great. That's a hallmark of great musical composition.
Most of the Glass early works were composed and recorded on the cheapest of electric organs which wasn’t even velocity sensitive.
Superb!
“Sometimes you’ve got to let your Moog be a Moog…”
Yes!!! Matriarch is a wonderful and unique synth and is forever inspiring to me. Lovely video ❤

'Let your Moog be a Moog' 👍

Brilliant work on this Clayton !

I play on the piano...it' s not easy to play 😃
Interesting version ....moog is an incredible instrument
I once sequenced Bach and only adjusted the filter cutoff during playback, and got a nice little applause.
❤👍
God is a DJ (or a Moog)
It adds som Arvo Pärt to it
jesus, the phatness
While it sounds nice enough, doesn't it sort of completely defeat the purpose of an etude to sequence it?

i HEAR JUST NOISE
You need to get your "ears" checked
