@@markrocketmangrimstead I ordered it by the car number from the dealer he gave me one with 6.6 BAR but I noted that the previous Owner used a replacement filter with 3 BAR I checked with more than car shops they said that the 6.6 is the correct one .
@@alkkattab ive learnt something there mate, thats proper high pressure. I must admit the pattern mann filter we fitted has been fine not sure what Barr it is
Is this procedure the same for a 2018 Seat Leon 5F1 with the 1.2 TSI with 86 HP? There is literally no clear replacement part to be found on the internet
Hi mate,I've tried to look on e Bay,some show a paper cartridge, without your reg i don't know. But if your filter is an aluminium filter like mine ,yes the procedure is the same
@@markrocketmangrimstead I know it was a while ago you did it but did you have to undo petrol filling cap to release pressur in system or just unplug and replace
Also the pipes should not struggle to fit,in other words if they look awkward its on the wrong port, the 2 pipes are not the same length,as are the twin ports from the filter
Thanks for the video, about to do this to my Ibiza, it's showing symptoms of fuel starvations / rough idle
😁🔥
Thanks for the video mate 🙏
Thankyou💪
Thank you for the video... Did you use 6.6 BAR or 3 BAR ?
Im not sure just ordered the standard filter. But thankyou for your comments

Cheers for making the video. It's acting as a really handy precursor to me getting under there. Gotta limit mistakes.
@@lukestone444 take your time mate you can do it👍

@@markrocketmangrimstead Thanks a lot! My filter might be a lifetime one according to some forums, but I will keep digging
It could be a cartridge, like some oil filters,so you just put the new cartridge in the housing, the connectors fuel hoses would probably be the same
Thanks muchly for this and oil change vid. Would recommend axle stands rather than leaving car up just on jack.
Cheers mate ,yes I am a bit reckless 😅
Great vid, do you need to empty tank first? Worried my tank will drain if i remove filter
If I remember we put a bowl underneath, but we didn't lose much fuel👍

@@leftfootforward1181 I think we just went for it,but yes you can remove the cap as your correct it would release pressure
Also my son said hardly any fuel was released
Which port is for supply or return to tank?
Hi,
I think you will find that the ports are different diameters, so you can't cross or put on the wrong one
Also the pipes should not struggle to fit,in other words if they look awkward its on the wrong port, the 2 pipes are not the same length,as are the twin ports from the filter
