I love it, but (not to put a real downer on it or anything) have you thought about wheeling bikes in and out. I have a single garage and have to sweep the floor all the time because the tyres pick up grit, just a thought, let us know if that becomes annoying. Wish I had the space though:-)
I don't know about you Chopsy, but the tiles look even better than I thought they would....check out the flooring TMF !
That floor is f-beep beep!-ing awesome! You'll be doing all your future videos from within that garage. No need to ride on those dirty roads and risking that you drop a bike or two, just stay inside with a mug of tea with rum. I seriously like this concept.

That just looks so nice and clean, jealous doesn't come close to how I feel. I wish I could have a workshop like that at home instead of a dumping ground for junk in my garage
I put the textured none vented tiles in about 18 months ago, and I've had no issues with scratching or marking. I preferred the none vented for 2 reasons, 1 when you spill something, you just wipe it up real easy and 2 it's much kinder to my knees when kneeling down to work on the bike.
It does expand and contract with temperature quite a bit, so as it's cold you need to make make sure you have a good gap on the sides.
Flooring looks great Chopsy ! What you need now is a decent coffee machine to dodge your tea 😂😂😂

For someone like me who does Epoxy floors for a living I amorally surprised on how good these look , the multi colour tiles look fantastic .
Just done mine and I bought them from a company called tuff tile, they also supply the lights too. Just checked the prices and tuff tile and considerably cheaper

Amazing chopsy 👍👍 flooring looking great be even better when skirting around the edges is fitted. I would fit a switch fuse spur on the skirting to power you lift Eric so no wires stretching upwards to the double sockets. Just spur off one of your sockets straight down be much neater. But great garage chops , makes my bit of hall carpet under my bikes look bad 😁😁

Really like that flooring it’s awesome. I would think some tarpaper as a rudimentary moisture barrier might be good. Couldn’t resist putting my two cents in😂 Great choice Chops it looks so good, excellent👏
Looks great man! I've just got most of my flooring down too, Tackifier/glue took 48hrs to get usable at these temperatures though so its been a slow process haha just need to move my workbenches then do the last part! I went with all carpet tiles in mine so its easier to vacuum things up and I've checkered the pattern black and the same blue to match the roller doors colour too.
Love the idea to use those tiles as a bike park/matt idea that's actually brilliant! interested to know how much the lift cost you and where its from.
So close to that 100K subscribers....I hope you've left a space on the wall to mount the plaque!

Mate I know you said you can lift a tile you get a nut or bolt out which drops under it, but your gonna have to lift a few to find which one it fell under

Do you notice any problems with these type of floorings when you put your motorcycle on its side stand? I am worried a bit that with the holes and material it might not be able to hold to weight and tip the bike over.
No it's absolutely fine with side stands, I was worried and used to use a puk to protect it but there is no need 👍

Already tested it as emptied my box of assorted screws and shite, really really small stuff does go through but catches most things. It's going to be fine I think 👍

Would really like to do an epoxy resin floor in my garage, but the issue is where to store everything for the couple of days I’d need to do it. Shouldn’t be a problem as “we don’t need a garage” according to the wife when we bought the house, so naturally the room we didn’t need is filled with all hers and the kids stuff 🤣

How is this a good idea? What if small screws are falling down inside those vents? And oil spills? Must be a nightmare to clean or? Also if you want to rearrange the stuff you need to redo it... Am I missing something maybe, this looks like a nightmare to me for a workshop?
