Very well done and presented....I own a SFV4s and I do agree with every word in this video .Coming from a Monster 1200s ,I feel this bike is on a different level and very confidence inspiring around corners, not saying that Monster 1200 wasn’t fun .This bike is very powerful but it doesn’t take you by surprise.....the power is there when you want it and the front wheel stays on road most of the time even under hard acceleration ,unless you want it up 😆. Overall a great bike and Apex guys are an excellent team !!!
Best Bike I have ever ridden!!! Yes, Install a Ducati Corsa map with the full Akropavic titanium race exhaust!!! O restrictions!! Incredible bike!! Ooooozes Character!! Especially dropping rpms and up shifting, this V-4 is an event every time!!!
I think, traditionally, the 1994 Triumph Speed Triple has often been cited as the first production streetfighter even though Ducati entered the game in 1993 with the first Monster. Aprilia came along with the Tuono in 2002. The Tuono amped up the performance of the segment significantly at this point, that is for sure. Paul was just saying that Ducati called an ace an ace and actually named one of their models the Streetfighter. All very exciting motorcycles in their times and still today! *edited to correct the date of the first Monster to 1993. I erroneously put it at '01. Blame the egg nog!
We were definitely reminded how nicely the 1098 has aged when we made this video - it wouldn't look out of place amongst 2021 models in our showroom. The V4 is growing on us though - thanks in large part to that incredible engine!
I have an SFV4S. I have no self control. But I do have a huge grin on my face every time I go for a ride! Get one!
Will never not own a Streetfighter V-4S , just incredible!!! Well done Ducati!! The motor sings!!!!

WOW. some day y get the jump to v4.
It was Aprilia and not Ducati that produced the first ever Streetfighter with the Tuono.

How do you mean?
@@apexcycle1481 It looks like a Japanese bike. But I’m partial to the trellis frame/dry clutch and bad manners of SF1098.
