One tip for SA-58: Don't buy the long barrel directly from flea/mechanic. Instead buy a low durability sa-58 from flea for like 25-30k, take out the 21'' barrel and sell the gun back to traders. It's much cheaper this way.

What I love in particular about the 7.62x51 guns this wipe is the sheer amount of alternative builds you can do. Running them loud with the BMD combo, RK-1 or 2, and PRS GEN3 stock can give you better ergo and recoil for cheaper, at the expense of blowing everyone's ears off. Even for suppressed, changing the RSASS handguard for the Noverske SWS ones and putting a CQR on gives nearly identical stats for a very pretty looking weapon (for the SR-25 specifically, and the mutant if you're into that). The barrel length making a huge difference for ergo too gives you an interesting decision as to whether you want a shorter barrel for quick scoping, or longer for better point fire. This is how weapon modding for other guns should be too IMO, but it feels like there's just "one good build" for all the other rifles in the game
I used the JP mount, too since this wipe. I tend to use the 30mm Recknagel: it is cheaper, does not give -1 ergo and what I find the best thing about it: you can place the reddot closer to your PMCs eyes so it is more accurate.
One key thing to mention with the scar-h is the 3 different barrel's you can select. If you want a full auto breacher spitting out 7.62x51, the short barrel scar-h is good. Want a medium distance rifle but still need to be CQC? Slap the mid length on there. Looking for a long range DMR? Slap the long boy on there.
sadly thats not how EFT works. need recoil control for spraying people in CQC? long barrel. Want accuracy, MOA and bullet velocity for long range? long barrel. I wish very much it was different.
I prefer the scar because it is the most accurate, has full auto, small recoil, and good ergonomics, i use it with the 1-8x g28 scope and a ramge finder laser on top, you can use it for sniping, cqb, anything you want

I recently find out that this quote has one more part to it "jack of all trades master of none, but better than a master of one". So it fits perfectly to the SR-25, whitch is also my favorite gun this wipe, along side with the ADAR/TX-15.
RSASS is really nice, too! I’d never buy them because of the price, but if I found one in raid, I’d run it - I think it’s a tad better than M1A for ergo, but slightly more recoil.
There is also a barter for the SCAR-H with mechanic lvl 3 which its around 130k roubles. I personally prefer the RFB for budget runs, SR-25 if I'm gonna use it suppressed and once I unlock the MDR I'll use it whenever I run high tier armor. PS: Excellent video as always!
Shame its fde one that glow in the night ^^' or underground/shop etc. So its kinda anoying. (Scar 16 fde glow too kinda like glasses if you know what i mean)

If you buy the G28 version from Jaeger and sell the Muzzle, the Scope and pistol grip etc. to mechanic to replace them with the "Meta" parts (PRS Suppressor, Gral-S, SE-5) you are just missing out on scope/optic for the same price you bought the base gun. So to get a "Meta" G28 its roughly 300K without any optic. That is totally in line with the prices of your builds in this video, IF you have max traders of course.
IDK what your built was but without any Optic and Laser it ends up 312 K for me. 297000 base gun, Sell parts for 96000, Buy GRAL-S, PRS KIT, SE-5 for 112000. I guess with a Razer + DBAL on Top you can get up to 390 K.

Edit : just did one, Card is 200k, G28 suppressor is 31k (cheapest 7.62 suppressor and the best before QDC combo), Extended foregrip 11k, RK1 20k... And slap an moe handguard if you want 14k... So 200+31+11+20+14k... 276k for a fully moded taptap with 79 recoil but the suppressor make it feel a 50... Also you have the awesome PM2 scope mounted on... so you may want a reflex... but fortunately you can mount one straight... so.. Yeah, lot more cheaper than my SR25 with same spec sheet. Maybe buttstock change, 23k for HK + cheek...
I'm not a big fan of MDR, so I just opt for FAL with 30 rounders and short barrel when I want the full auto .308 experience. For DMRs, I really don't use them all that often but G28 is definitely my favourite. Not that it existed back when ya made this video I think.
I found one of the new HKs in marked and made a few small changes to it before loading into light house. I insured it for like 100k cuz I figured rogues might kill me and I would get it back. Spawned 30 seconds late up on the hill by the land mines and didn’t even get to take a step before getting shot in the head :(
Pretty sure scar is the best. I don't think the least moddable rifle would be best. I'll double check, but low recoil is supreme. any day with three-o-hate
These are great builds, I hope to try these out when I get trader levels up there. One thing to note, I'm surprised that when you went to Day Customs/Reserve you could find the time to scope into boss guards enough to place good shots on them. Gluhar's crew is the worst by far, have spawned at Dome and 30 secs later and not even scoping in that direction, I immediately start getting beamed by tracer rounds from Knight buildings.
Probably went into offline and put their difficulty on easy mode to show how it could beat their gear with ease but not have to worry about getting insta-beamed like u said. Idk

on SR-25 you get recoil vertical 64 and horizontal 138 how? i have same type of this SR-25 gun and have vertical 76 and horizontal 165 i was try change many parts and never get your numbers what you show here
I think an unsuppressed rfb for ultra budget or a full auto one for cqb. If you're thinking of going in solo or being in the open at mid range i would always go suppressed, especially with semi auto. I have done many a tech run with a loud rfb, but im moving fast.
Ergo takes a massive hit (no surprise there :D ), but recoil is better with suppressors. And all of those guns are really loud. Fire it with no suppressor and half of map knows where you are.
Every gun is best suppressed except for a very select few. When the enemy or third parties can't locate you, you will win way more fights. Being loud and therefore higher ergo and potentially lower recoil is beneficial in cqb where suppressed doesnt affect stealth.
I dint think the ammo and armor restrictions are what make it popular. It's the fact that full auto guns are shit now. That's why nobody talks about the FAL or SCAR H. And the MDR is shit now too

Well, a little problem... If you want to go full auto with a 7.62x51 rifle, I would definitely go loud. First of all: More ergo, less recoil. Second: The enemies can shit themselves when hearing someone going full auto with these guns.

there is NO way rfb is the best budget waepon of this caliber, you can buy a sr-25 for the same price on the flea with better stats and WAY more modding possibilities if you want. edit: if you mod a rfb you get worst stats then a stock sr-25. the thing good about the rfb is that you can use it early on in the wipe besides that 0 upsides

The only way rfb might be worth is if you dont put anything on the gun. even then paying 10k extra for the sr-25 is better then putting any compensator on the rfb, in adition you have a way better gun. edit: back for buck i dont see a reason to use the rfb over the sr-25
RFB is available early, crazy cheap, easy access to mags etc. You can definitely use an SR25 as a replacement for the RFB, but if you want a cheap 762 gun that comes back through insurance the RFB is solid

That +6 ergo is pretty nice but it really just depends on what you want, less recoil or more ergo

Rfb is 10k cheaper for one. And two, has 70 less vert recoil and whopping 200 less horz recoil base stat. Always wins for budget setup.
