    Robert, thank you for sharing! I, too, feel extremely exhausted. I thought it's the beginning of the winter season, but I now begin to realise that it's so much more than that! It's two bouts of COVID, a lengthy toe infection, one war that affected me deeply and personally, several close relationship fallouts, travelling to Europe, then settling down with family in the Southern Hemisphere, buying our first house with a long list of things to fix, and also our first cute but hyperactive doggie. And into all this, I decided to come out of the closet as an astrologer and a tarot reader, to set up my website, a TH-cam channel, and declare that I exist. The highs and lows of client work. And all this time just pushing myself. From one thing to another. Never really sitting down and taking stock of all the life-changing events that have happened and that continue to happen. It is time to admit that there is a big reason for this tiredness and to stop beating myself up for feeling under the weather. I agree with cutting out the surplus, the unnecessary, and the distractions. And I will try my best not to feel guilty about the sweetness!

    Yes. After retiring late, and arriving in Oregon a year ago today, I still feel like I'm recovering from the madness of 20 years in Silicon Valley. Working from home for several months during Covid left me feeling really weird. That was especially hard on single folks like myself. Getting back into a building with other people felt good, but it came with so many rules and restrictions that it was hardly worth it. I'm still fighting the feeling of being broken, and honestly wondering if that wasn't the point. One day everything was fine, and the next you felt lucky if you could just find toilet paper and ramen noodles. So here I am, living in a cheap hotel outside of Portland, wondering if I'll ever see my belongings again. I have a little bit of a kitchen in my room, so I can make most of my own food, and I have my cat with me for company, so I'm okay for the time being. I really want a place of my own so I can stretch out and get back to actually having a life. By the way ... if sciatica is something you're prone to I recommend incorporating hip opening stretches into your day. Any of the pigeon poses in Hatha are good for that. I speak from experience :)

      Hi Dan! I came to read Rob's reply and scrolled down to read other people's comments, as I am a big fan of the audience that gathers here. Your words reminded me of an opening line in Tolstoy's Anna Karenina: 'Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.' We are all happy when health, love, work, and finances come together, and we are all shattered if anyone of those pillars crumples. For me, this is a reminder that I am not alone in my suffering, despite the difference in its nature. We all share these universal human experiences, apart but together. I am sending you much love and a big bear hug!

    nice reading and nice out for those who may be less overwhelmed, i think RWS is very good for more open readings than TDM , ironically the TDM originated open readings , although as any good reader gets the flow of the cards readings become freer and more open , J and CBD just gave it a name, blessing to your sheets

    • @teatarot4557
      @teatarot4557  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm curious about what you say about the TDM originating open readings. Can you say more about that? I've finished the Jodorowski book and have filmed a video about my feelings about it, but not posted it yet.

    • @ernestboehm1584
      @ernestboehm1584 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      just that jorowosky called for an open reading system looking at the cards and taking meaning from them sort of like looking at a picture or series of pictures ben dov student of J describes it in his marseille book, ben dov’s readings in the book were so off the mark for me that i just called it quits , the pips really are more about card defined meaning like huson explains. but rider smith decks pictures is more open to making up a story independent of the card meanings. i work off key words but also take the relationship to card order, card pairings what in the picture etc

    Hello Robert,
    Congrats to you and the hubby. Hope you’re feeling better. Sciatic back pain is a bitch. It began for me two yrs ago. I have to smoke pot to enjoy riding, these days. Luckily, I enjoy that, too. Is it legal in Berlin? Giddy up cowboy!
    Anyhoo, I watched this video a few days ago. Halfway through, I suddenly realized you were using TdM. That is, perhaps, the best recommendation you could give Jodorowsky’s book. I immediately purchased it. I’ve been happily struggling through it non-linearly. Lots of notes. I’m already planning to reread it.
    -best wishes

    I resonate strongly with what you are saying and am feeling this exhaustion as well from my own similar blend of things. Was eating some dark chocolate while you were talking about the 9 of cups which made me laugh. Curious if your non-true sciatica is piriformis syndrome?

    • @teatarot4557
      @teatarot4557  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ha ha! The lovely 9 of Cups!
      Thanks for your sciatica tip. I don't think it's piriformis syndrome because the main pain is on the inside of the leg. I'm getting better, I just need rest. Rx
