Thanks man, fixed a free headphones :D I wanted to use some cheap superglue but the plan was to make it really strong. I was disappointed several times in the cheap glue, but this Baking soda idea is awesome. Now I just have to wait to dry. :)

Thank you for the video. I have the WH-1000XM4 with a broken hinge, so I'll probably try this fix. I didn't know about mixing the glue with baking soda, but that stuff is so versatile, I'm not surprised there's another use I was unaware of

Put your soda into an eye dropper. I use empty bottles with eye droppers from face cosmetic thing i don't know face peeling aha bha something-something from my girlfriend. Bottles from e-liquid work too but a hole in eyedropper needs to be small for precise use. Soda works but not it this particular case.

It won't hold for long. People keep bringing me sony headphones after glue fix from another repair shops. Semi functional fix is to connect both swivel parts with bolts nuts and washers. Another is to print the broken detail. I found a pretty good model for that but repeating the same "unintentional" mistakes just like Sony did is not the way for me. Another way is to print the custom hinge that clips to the headband with zip-ties lol. It is almost instant fix for the client in a hurry. It is the least time consuming way to repair it and a little less of disassembling job.
Time consuming but very good method is to drill a bolt to make it hollow so cable can go through. Only downside is It wont work if the swivel is too small. Potentially you can use a normal bolt for that and wire the headphone externally.
Radical way is to get rid of headband entirely and replace it with some hearing protector-alike headband. Cost too much for the place i live so i stick with bolts nuts and washers.
I've never understood why the hell can someone need headphones rotating like crazy? For what... I never saw someone with inverted ears...
