I started reacting to both Jessie J and Hua Chenyu competing on the 2018 Chinese Singing competition (The Singer) a few months ago. As usual, I got distracted with other reactions and hadn't finished reacting to this series... but then one of you beautiful lot advised me that FAOUZIA AND CHANTE MOORE were performing on this year's series of The Singer, so I HAD to finish this before reacting to those!
Each performance is just so awesome from Hua Chenyu - so original, it's amazing to see! ❤️

Yes, the Singer singing competition is considered to be one of the best in the world. Do not rely too much on the number of views. The Fake Monk video you have chosen is not the official version which has more than 2M views. For example: His song Great Sage Equal to Heaven from the show The Next with more than 50M views has been deleted, only unofficial versions remain. Thank you again for this new reaction. Many people might think it would have been great to have known Hua Chenyu earlier, but in reality, as long as there's a chance to know him, it's never too late! Relax and enjoy the music without putting too much pressure on yourself. We are fortunate to live in an era with the internet where many great works are preserved. No matter when you listen, they are timeless classics.
So many videos from the years 2016-2018 with up to 50 million views have been taken down from TH-cam including the one with most views My Skateboard Shoes. About 50 millions at the time. If my memory serves me right

Hua Chenyu's performances on Singer 2018 are truly classics, and even after six years, we still find them stunning! Hua Chenyu puts his whole heart and soul into every performance.
After you finish watching the Singer series, I hope we have the chance to watch his recently held Sunrise Concert together. I believe this is the first concert in the world by a single artist with the theme of sunrise, starting from 3 a.m. and continuing until 6 a.m. We can start by listening to the most important song from the concert, "Growing Toward The Sun," which he specifically composed for this event. This concert was built from scratch, with the stage and venue costing $35 million USD to construct by the seaside, making it a truly unique sunrise concert.

Spot on about X-Factor style of shows. Singer is a far superior show as it let's us really get to hear the full talent.
Strangely "Ordinary Path" is a performance I always forget. Then I hear it, and think "why do I keep forgetting this. It's amazing". "Problem" is Hua Hua has hundreds of amazing performances, and this just disappears.
Yet, for any other singer this could be their No. 1 song. 😳

Hi Margherita, fellow Aussie here who also loves and appreciates Hua Hua not long after discovering Dimash five years ago, both through the Singer competitions. I've watched all Hua Hua's 2018 and 2020 Singer performances plus Super Boy performances and other comps and concerts he's been in. His recent Sunrise concert is phenominal! There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe Hua Hua and Dimash, and we are so very lucky to be living in the same time as these amazing artists who are mesmerising in their own unique ways ❤️ 🇦🇺
