Good Video. Right mix of light Music, Easy Narration, And awesome scenery!! Can't wait to get back there myself!!
Me too, but I don’t think we are going to make it this year. We have Yellowstone, Glacier, and Grand Teton National Parks on the schedule this year.
Thank you! I used to live in Ouray, good to be back
I drove my Toyota Tercel up there
Hi thanks for the video, do you think I can take a front wheel drive suv with good clearance in this road? Thanks in advanced 🎉
Depends on your tires.
Great videography! Enjoyed it, and put it in out buck-list.
You won’t be disappointed, that area is beautiful. 👍🏼
Your opening and closing footage instantly brought a special joy to my heart. You see, I bought a patented mining claim "just" on the other side of that 12,000 mountain (near Bear Creek Falls at Hwy. 550) back in 1991. It's a bit expensive to get there from California these days, but just knowing it's there -- and seeing familiar video -- is all it takes for the memories to come flooding back. Thank you for sharing!
Great to hear! It is a special place.
I used to have a Bronco like that
Nice video, at the beginning of the video, the rock outcropping how high above the roadway would you guess it is?
I would guess 15 feet or more. I wasn’t worried about clearance issues.
@@travelingbbqer I've a tall off roading vehicle and clearage height is always a concern.
Breathtaking scenery! Greets from down under.
It is a beautiful area. 👍🏼
There is a Bronco in my town that looks similar, I Love It
I love seeing old 4x4s still out on the trails.
Seriously- if someone is coming DOWN while you’re going UP, how does one pass and who has the right of way?
Up hill has the right of way.
Up hill has the right of way--- within reason. If the down hill has to back up 1/4 mile but the uphill only 30 yards, that is obvious. Or if there are 3 vehicles down hill and only one up hill, that is just common sense.
Thanks for sharing, great job!
Thanks
Did you use 4 low or 4 high for that trail?
4 low but not because of the terrain really it’s easier on the vehicle when you are creeping along.
Good point ! Easy on the brakes. Thanks @@travelingbbqer
