Very good video thank you. I don’t have any knowledge of this sort of thing. One of our pumps has air in it, output splutters. I have tried releasing the air but which works for a short while but then it splutters again. Any ideas? Thankyou

Hi. Good video. Thanks. I was looking to see if during this procedure I could determine why my exact same pump is running every 5 minutes or so even though no water is being used. No obvious leaks either. Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks. Michael

Have you checked for any air lock in the pump by slightly releasing the black plastic cap on the top tank?
Normally if the pump is cycling it is a slight pressure leak somewhere in the outlet side of your system.. The smallest weep from a tap will cause it to happen.

Original tanks are not stainless tanks, I wonder why, We did this, pressure switch never worked properly after. Looks like you had the pressure switch replaced on there. The replacement tanks often have no screw holes to secure the top lid

Thank you for your reply. My pressure sensor is the original 15 year old one and works perfectly in the new SS tank.
My Pump didn't have the later screw and bracket secured top cover, so the SS Tank matched my original perfectly.
My pump is located under the house floor, so never had a problem with the pump cover unsecured fitting.

I have air getting in mine? Suction line is good, a water pressure good as have added valves. Suction line has good oressure as gave a union fitting. Air from where? No leaks anywhere

It must be an air leak in the suction side somewhere? Are the Flange O ring seals on the pump inlet ok?.
I once had a inline blue pvc removable pipe connector slightly loose on the pump inlet.. It was under the soil too and took ages to find the problem!
