Am doing duck eggs and it said 28 days and then to move to hatching tray at day 25 so dose that mean that I have to wait 25 more days and them put them in lock down
On day 25, take out the black tray and add water to achieve 70-75% humidity and leave it closed (lockdown) and the ducks should start hatching on day 28 (three days later). Hope you have a great 🐣 hatch.
Regardless of what incubator you own, you need to bump up the humidity on day 25 and lockdown. If yours has a tray, or automatic turner, you generally need to remove that on day 25 for lockdown. I don’t have that particular model, but have another brand of incubator and it is the same procedure even though the turner is very different. I wish you all the best of luck.
That the paper advertisement out and you can see from the top
