Only reason I'm grinding the Hermes at the moment is because I don't have enough Global Exp to jump straight to the Tier V. My best carrier is German, 2nd is American, Japan, Russia, Hermes tied for 3rd.
I landed 28 bombs in a Battleship and i take only one segment of it's health, it is LAME at best. I know it is a T3 carrier, but it is the WORST T3 carrier by far
Hermes sucks. Only one torp at a time that is so slow you can see it coming from across the map and it does so little damage that most BB and cruiser skippers don't even waste their time trying to avoid them. The HE rockets are fairly good at starting fired, but because of their targeting system you aren't able to adjust your shots after committing. More often than not you'll overshoot the target. Carriers in WOWS / WOWS Legends are good for spotting. But even then surface ships are able to see CV squadrons long before the planes can see them. Come across a higher tier DD and half your squadron is wiped out before you get to make your first attack run (as if you could hit them anyway). Wargaming has finally convinced me to agree with those who've been decrying CV's from their introduction to the game; playing them has become a most unrewarding experience and the should be removed from the game.
Ya know, I’m not the worlds greatest ship master in WOW, ill say that for free. HOWEVER, I do enjoy tier III carriers, and typically come away with 40-60,000 damage per match, which I’m quite happy with. After getting the Hermes, that was obviously the bar I held it to… So I was obviously quite confused when, despite best efforts, I was only able to come away with 5-10,000 in damage on my matches with the ship. Since I play casually, I figured I must be playing the ship wrong or missing something. After about 20 matches, I can safely say that this is the shittiest turd i have ever ridden in to the great blue sea. I cannot imagine being the simpleton dev who play-tested this ship and came away with the conclusion that it was ready to be introduced. If the designer of this ship happens to scroll through these comments, I just want to pass on one simple message: FIND A DIFFERENT LINE OF WORK, YOU ASSHAT.
They have to put if or if the missiles because or if not this will be the worst aircraft carrier in the game literally you can not destroy the destroyers with that bombed carpet and the torpedoes seem like they are powered by steam, which is slower and more stressful by God for the rest They must put more bombs on the planes I don't think this aircraft carrier has been that bad in real life to belong to the English Navy what the hell did the Royal Navy do to Wargaming so that it hates them so much🙄🤦♂️ PS: I'm so frustrated Now all the excitement I had from playing Hermes was taken away from me I even sold my Langley😤 the worst mistake I have made in the game 😔🔫.
@@Dr_GhostYT Totally agree otherwise I will be forced to sell it and buy back the Langley again the bad thing about the CV line is that it takes a long time to go from one to the other and they say that the Furious is much better so I am undecided whether to continue with the British line or not?🤷♂️
I have no clue if the Furious or Implacable are any good. From what I'm seeing so far, they're crap. I'd probably recommend going down the USA CV line since the bombs do more damage and have a much higher fire chance. Plus you get slightly better torpedoes I believe. As of now I'm not to keen in continuing grinding through the British CVs since they seem very mediocre.
Horrible ship. This is the absolute worst carrier,maybe even the worst ship in the game..single,low damage torps and ultra low damage bombs..absolute garbage ship.I cannot even fully articulate how disappointed I am with Hermes..
@@SOBGamimg No,compared to the other teir three carriers,Hermes is horrible. If you play rank three carriers alot,you understand how bad this ship is. Every other ship is better in every way except Langley is slower..Rhein,Hosho are infinitely better even sad,slow Langley is better overall. This is a travesty to the players who were excited for Hermes.
@@mateusstuarts.dasilva7979 idk about pc,but I know alot about console carrier gameplay and Hermes has no advantages,no unique features and no place in the meta as it currently exist. There is no reason to play it over any other carrier.It will either get a buff or be one of those ships you never see.
After playing about 15 matches in the Hermes, I can agree that she's probably the worst CV. Her bombs do no damage, small fire chance, and very crappy torpedoes. Not the biggest fan of the CV so far.

Implacable 16x45% burn chance ..... on a Bb.... not have a great time.

It’s a tier 3 acc.Wasn’t expecting much.Allo of the tiers 3 accs are insignificant.Tier 5 is a different story.

@@joshuamitcham1519 it's simple the WG console nerfed the Hermes, this cv drop 12 bombs in pc, but on console it’s drop 4. A brutal nerf
