In 5 seasons of gold rush white water, I think the most they have ever made in a single season, is about 20 ounces - barely enough to cover air fares, fuel and food for the season. The TV Network must pay descent, otherwise, they would have folded long ago (hence, why you don't see other gold mining crews up and down those banks)...
gee what happens when it rains and the drainage area is through a narrow canyon. lets wait till it is a life threatening situation to try and get your dredge
Works in narrow river where flash floods can happen. Fails to check something basic as a weather forecast. Gets hit by a big storm that was probably forecasted a week in advance. Lose almost everything. What a bunch of baboons.
