After 4 pulls my pull rope broke. I shortened it and it broke again. I replaced it with a 3/16 th" stainless steel cable. 100% sure it will never break. Planed obsolescence sucks!
Why don't they just use an ROV with a camera? Then dive when there are issues with it. It wouldn't be difficult to connect the hose to robotic hands and then just use a remote control to move the hose around. You can probably also attach a lifting device to move rocks bigger than any person can move. I mean if you are in a hole and a collapse happens your dead. Seems like a no brainer to me considering the risk.
