- A few technical notes:
1) One could theoretically play this better by popping a Diona Elemental Burst (at C6) and timing the HP threshold for the Elemental Mastery buff with Hu Tao's Elemental Skill. This would grant a decently large damage bonus.
2) One could also proc the 4 piece Viridescent Venerer set effect with a Pyro infusion from Hu Tao for another large chunk of damage bonus
The main reason these were not shown is due to the inherent difficulty of timing all of these effects.
This comp can be used against almost any enemy, whether single target or multi target. The main drawback is the need for enemies to remain in the same relative place. However, this isn't a big deal due to the fact that most enemies tend to swarm towards the player. This comp has greater damage potential than the meta Xingqiu Comp due to scaling on Plunge vs. Charged Attacks as well as Melt vs. Vaporize; furthermore, the fact that you are essentially simulating Xiao on Hu Tao means you'll be able to jump over many enemy attacks.
