- In this Genshin Impact Beginner's Guide, I'm going to explain every Element in the game as well as all Elemental Reactions so that you can use them to deal multiple times the damage you used to do.
With Pyro, Cryo, Hydro, Electro, Anemo, Geo and Dendro there are a lot of possible combinations. So we will also discuss which ones of these are the best and which ones can be ignored.
This Genshin Impact Guide is inspired by the works of Zy0x, SharkH3art, Eakes, Doro44, JazzGal and many more...

Honesty, very underrated channel. You explain everything very clearly and keep it short. Not only that, but the editing is very pleasant to the eye. Very glad I found this channel. Keep at it!
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment ❤️
I'm happy you enjoyed the vid ^^
Thank you for your support!
@GIBlacky wait you do genshin videos? That's pretty cool man
CRYO:

ELECTRO:

5:08 Electro-charge (⚡ + 🌊)
6:11 Superconduct (⚡ + ❄)
ANEMO:
6:48 Swirl (🌪 + ⚡/🔥/❄/🌊)
GEO:

DENDRO:
8:24 Burn (🌿 + 🔥)
8:36 Bloom (🌿 + 🌊) = Dendro Core
9:07 Burgeon (Dendro Core + 🔥)
9:26 Hyperbloom (Dendro Core + ⚡)
10:15 Quicken (🌿 + ⚡)
10:25 Spread (Quicken + 🌿)
10:35 Aggravate (Quicken + ⚡)
thank you
worth noting that crystallize is really great for navia cause the shards make her elemental skill deal a lot more damage. it's also a useful reaction for breaking elemental shields
they should add more elemental reaction for GEO
like
Molten = Geo + Pyro
sludge = Geo + Hydro
Overgrowth = Geo + dendro
That would be cool, yes ^^
I like that in genshin, the elements have no weakness which makes the game easy
Yeah. Except when attacking a shield with the element that the shield is made of there's no reason to pick one element over the other ^^
Yes but also no, a lot of enemies are weak or resistant to specific elemental damage, the most obvious example are the slimes who are completely immune to damage of the same element as them
Your voice, editing and the detail is high quality, very underrated channel man, please keep it up, you are really helping alot to us.
Love this video, it helped me understand all those elemental reactions. Thank you🙏
I just got a 4 star geo character and you’re telling me it doesn’t give off any damage😭😭😭
Yeah this is 100% best guide on elements. You got a sub!
this is the clearest, most concise explanation of the elemental reaction system that i’ve seen. bravo!
Thank you for the awesome compliment my friend ❤️
Really happy you liked it and found it helpful ^^
A year ago started to see your warframe guides and now I'm doing the same but with Genshin cause I like the way you explain.
I am new to this game and i wanted to ty for this helpful video:D
Wonderful tutorial!
Thank you! 🙂

Gonna try Hyperbloom
I'm so glad I found your channel and videos... I finally understand the elements ❤❤
And I'm happy to have you here :D Thank you for the amazing feedback
This is the best elemental reactions video I have seen so far on TH-cam 😁👍
Oooh wow, thank you so much for the awesome compliment ❤️ I'm really happy you enjoyed it so much ^^
Agree 😁👍
This was so helpful thank youu ❤❤
been a subscriber of your warframe channel for a long time now, and i stumbled on your channel when i was looking for a good genshin beginner guide. as usual your videos are extremely helpful! keep it up
Haha thank you for the kind words :D What a nice coincidence that you came across this one, too :D
Glad that I could help ;)
I play this game for over 3 years now... And I still don't understand why vaporize and melt need EM... Like it's a 1.5 or 2 x multiplier it's fixed.... So whyyyyy
It’s not fixed, with em it’s more than 1.5 or 2x
The actual formula is a bit more complex. It's not just "take the danage and multiply it by 1.5 / 2" There are resistance and weakness variables as well as EM in the formula. You can read the whole thing up on the wiki 😉
@@GIBlacky yeah I think I need to cause no one mentions this in a video... Every single explanation video just sais: times 2 or times 1.5
@@andrewmelillo3235 Because that the main difference between reactions, the rest of the equation is pretty much consistent throughout all of them, with the only other difference being what he said at the end
@@XplosivDS he just said that atk and crit are counted as well but that has nothing to do with my question and I already knew that these reactions can crit
informatives Video :) danke
Ist die Betonung in "superconduct" nicht eher in der letzten Silbe?
You need to emphasize on the difference between Amplifying, Transformative & Additive reactions at the start of the video, NOT at the end. It is the most crucial part of all reactions in the game & people can be misled since it was only mentioned at the end of the video, which most viewers have most likely left.
Thank you for the feedback. However I'd argue if one doesn't know anything about the system, therefore looks for a guide and the first thing you hear is someone listing a dozen different reactions, inzroducing terms like "additive", "transformative" and "amplifying" and explains how crit, EM and ATK influence reaction damage, I'd personally insta quit. I structured the video this way intentionally. In my opinion the best way to teach is going from general to specific.
And if someone who needs guidence quits a guide before the end then that's up to them. But if they missed something then, this is none of the creator'd business. You're free to disagree though. Just my opinion 😉
All my friends tried to explain this to me many times to no result, this video did a better job explaining this to a non-rpg guy better then them.
Aaaw happy to hear you found it helpful :D Thank you for the nice feedback ❤️
Thanks bro I'm currently ar 56,5 but didn't knew much about elemental reactions so that guide helped me understand a lot hahah
Thank you for your encouraging feedback
This video gained you a new sub 😊
Good efforts bro thankyou for explaining!
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback, Bro
ive been playing genshin since 3 years and always neglected to learn what exactly those reactions mean even tho i see them everyday... so Thank you so much for this super comprehensive, high quality video! Literally couldnt be happier with a video like that ! You deserve more subscribers! ( Now i just need to learn what all artifact stats mean Lol ... maybe you could make a video on that 🤭😭 mainly talking about elemental mastery healing bonus etc )
Aaaw thank you so much for the awesome feedback ❤️
Really happy you found it helpful ^^
When it comes to Artifacts, I also have a video explaining everything about them aswell in case you're interested ^^

Omg thank you so much
Ur video is good so i am ur 258 subscribe 🎉🎉
I wish there was a dark or shadow one
it might come eventually since abyssal power seems to have a lot to do with the lore, and dendro came late so that proves that there could be new elements being released in the future
Thanks for the video. Just wanted to confirm, can swirl be used just to apply 2 reactions at same time, like hydro+electro+pyro applies electro charged and overloaded?
Hey, as far as I can say the way you put it, this should work 😉
@@GIBlacky Will try. Also can you make a beginner guide video, where we can get idea about what should be prioritise like character level, weapon, artifacts etc, when to level up/ upgrade other characters at different AR levels.
very useful
Thank you ❤️
Glad you like it ^^
my most used reaction is shatter...hearing that it is not important makes me sad ^^ i have no idea of the game, but i rly like cchongyun and use him together with the water sword boy
Hyperbloom is broken!! My first 5 star was Nahida... she carried me all the way long since ar 45 with dendro reactions! Raiden bless you too with being overpowered for something she wasn't even made for. By the loved the video and hearing your voice (?) again!
Aaaaw thank you for the sweet compliment

hey bro I'm back haha can u make tips for making a line up for beginners?
and bro I got lucky in wishes i got diluc and Bennett using just free acquaintant fate hehe
is Aether as my sub dps diluc as my main dps and noelle Bennett as may support and healer is it good for line up starter?
@@j.efernandez953Hell yeah! I got lucky and got Benny super early as well! You get another copy of him for free during this event now too. His C1 is broken, and it's easy to get. Welcome to the game if you're relatively new! There's a lot of good people willing to help
@@j.efernandez953It's a very solid starting team. Check out guides, there's a lot of them on TH-cam. Shark has probably the best guide out there.
SharkH3art He has a few. I wish I would have seen them when I started playing
i don't want to be seen as notepicking but dendro and anemo and geo can't react to each othermeaining that they are the only exceptions
My question is…
How do you trigger these reactions?
Is it automatic? Or do you have to do you manually ?
you manually apply the individual elements onto said enemies in order suggested in the video and the reaction triggers. Some characters can do this easier than others.
Most of the time is manually other times it is auto. Let's say you have Lisa who is a catalysis who automatically applies electro with each hit. It just depends on who you are playing and what enemies you are playing against. Keep in mind the environment can also apply elemental effects
Aren't you the same guy who makes warframe videos 🤔
My xingqui beidou bennet and yanfei carrying whole team till ar 35 💀👌
Sounds explosive ^^
@@GIBlacky 💀 but i lost zongli to qiqi at 75 pity💀
@@multinogaming07I lost my furina to dehya :'(
bro where are viral and slash? i thought they were the best ones
Only against Grineer. Not against the Abyss Order :P
These guides are very helpful. I just started 4-5days ago and reached AR 16 by rushing and ignoring guides and dialogues.
I have Bennett, Noelle, Xiangling and free characters you get. I am currently using Bennett, Xiangling, Noelle and Kaeya. Suggest me some character that I should get and replace them from this team comp to make this team even better.
I just start 1 week ago, since you also just start playing this game, may i ask, how to get bennett?
Does it has to do with some quest to get bennett?
@@endryryzal718you have to wish for him he isn't a free character
6:02 and Vaporize or not?
Yes.
So geo is useless? I wanted itto as a main because I liked the way he looked lol
yea itto is unique
@@biawakkomodo6934yes I don’t know which team I want to start with. I wanted to do something with earth but, only have Noelle. I just started made it to lvl 25. So far I’m playing with Lisa as a main dps and I use that water guy forgot his name lol) to set up the em. The rest is Noelle for shield and amber I just use to have fire.
Honestly even tho geo is known for being kinda useless, pull for Itto regardless if u want! Dont let element reaction stop you from pulling your favorite character
Don't you ever think that electro never become meta? Luckly that geo had ever touched the top of meta even in very f2p friendly build, especially since itto and navia's existance. While electro itself never touched the top of meta due to worse , too expensive (literally rob your savings for its cons + sign weap) and worthless mechanism
@@nadhif_nasrulare you saying that raiden never was meta?
if xianling uses her ultimate and chonyun uses his abilitiy and aa the enemy so he infuses him with cryo and then xianglings ult hits the enemy while she is not on the field...whose stats are improtant for the reaction then? Cause u said that the person triggering the reaction should have the good states...but who is triggering in in this example. The on field character (Chongyun) or the characater who used the ability (Xianling)
I have same doubts, if you find any answer tell me 😅
So a good team would be for a good element reaction:
Pyro
Hydro
Electro
Dendro
Is what I'm understanding?
If you combine Hydro with Dendro, then you will automatically create these Dendro Cores. However in this case I would focus on either Electro or Pyro as the 3rd element because getting Burgeon and Hyperbloom at the same time is a bit inconsustent 😉
For starters it's also very much possible to stick with just two different elements per team like Hydro and Pyro and then only go vor Vaporize. Always depends on which characters you have 😉
Bro leaving warframe for simping
I can simp for Ember Heirloom and Raiden Shogun at the same time :P
