  • Here's a guide on how to replace the coil packs and spark plugs for the 2005 - 2012 Porsche Boxster (987.1 and 987.2).
    Old and dirty spark plugs or malfunctioning coil packs can cause misfires and performance issues. Replacing the spark plugs is a required maintenance item.

    I did this exact same thing last year, cleared up a misfire, and it ran great for a good two weeks before fouling again.
