While this isn’t my favorite color, your technique is on point and that paint job looks INCREDIBLE. The metallics are all even, no striping, the shine is incredible. I don’t even see orange peel! I can’t believe you did this in a tent! I’d bring my truck to you in a heartbeat!
You’re right I hadn’t noticed that, it’s crazy because my local painters cant figure out the dirt nips and orange peel with a paint booth and $1000 guns.
I'm a welder by trde, but I just got an itch about learning how to paint and do body work. Just know that the effort that you put into these videos is VERY much appreciated, and every single tip that you show. Thank you.
info is on point! gonna go this route over macco. already chopped and swapped my rear quarter panel and shaved my engine bay. now i gotta respray the entire vehicle. wanted to switch the color.
This is something I would love to do from home. I lost motivation when my truck was stolen some years back also had bought the compressor and gun from harbor freight to practice.
Thanks for this video. I subscribed for a specific reason- you are humble and don’t try to act like an expert. You obviously made mistakes, but you did the right thing and learned from those mistakes and now you have a high quality end result. I look forward to seeing more progress on this build. Congrats on a job well done!
Amazing work man and thanks for all the tips and tricks on how to do this…. i am the same way I love doing my own stuff…TH-cam has everything a person wants to know and anything you want to learn about anything you’re wanting to do in life….from simple diy repairs diy projects even up to full custom builds…people like you are the reason why I love watching TH-cam and always learning something new every single day….thanks again man and keep up the great work
Hell yea looks like you rocked that metallic! I’m just starting building a first gen dodge 350 crew cab going to be looking for a damn good painter for my truck.
Great 👍 work. I just followed your channel. I couldn’t help but correct you the cuhzzz capital has to be in the valley lol 😆 Real talk tho you did amazing work and you seem to have a broad understanding of painting for such a short period of time. Keep up the great work, and God bless you in 2025.
I use box fans and furnace filters to paint in my shop , you have to have filtered air coming in to match what is being pulled out . Nice job on the paint . Looks good.
Cuhhh i would definitely pay that much for a paint job if i still lived in Tx! Instead i built a booth alot like your's so it's cool i just found this channel after doing so. I seen some improvements I could make to mine from your videos. Good video. Great paint job especially for what you're working with.
Congrats bro, first time I see your video, you did an amazing paint job and you did a bad as video that was enjoyable and did not make me skip. One day I will come to get a paint job from you. Can’t wait to see once is all done. Good Vibes
I did my first paint job last month with every step taken it turned out great.I hated the orange peel, I corrected itwith a cut and buff. How yours turned out amazing me.
That truck came out awesome! I have an 89 Chevy Silverado. I never painted a car before. My biggest fear is actually taking the panels apart and not being able to put it back together. I'd love to see a video on how you do that part. Appreciate your hard work!
Ay bro you’re videos help alot for starters like me, seeing your journey helps me stay motivated to keep going. Keep dropping videos bro they fire especially the “educational” videos
@@nextcoat appreciate the videos! Question, I've read that when using a paint with heavy pearls and metallic you are supposed to paint all the panels together and not separate because the colors will vary between panels. Any truth to that? Specifically a candy apple red. Appreciate the feedback bro and great job!
I’m getting hung up on the roof of my square body. When I bought it the previous order ran under a tree, big dent. Big enough that they tried caking bondo and it had cracked through from being so thick. So I used metal to metal bondo haha! Still isn’t like I want it, I need to pull the windshield out to get it “perfect“. Watching your videos for inspiration, thanks bro
Thank you! I feel you on the roof. I feel like that is the hardest metal working area. With the bow and large surface area, it’s really hard to work. I’m no pro so I have the same issue!
Brother if you put some different rims and tire shine on those tires, it will take it to show quality… it’s hard to tell over video how pristine it truly came out, and time will also be the true determining factor…. Crazy great work my man! And show you pull up too it will get mad respect
Is there any way possible you can make like a list of everything you use like links and names air compressor, filter set up etc would be amazing love the videos !
Good job 👍 I don't use the regulator. I add a blue HF fliter and adjust the air from the gun by ear and test spray. I don't really care about a psi number, when it sprays like I want, that's it✔️
Amazing job, a tent seems like the best budget option and the dust/fumes won't make it into the home. Although, I hear the dust collects on the sides of the tent and may be an issue in the long term, do you plan on cleaning the tent or is it not a big deal?
I was taught with metallics you want to paint the whole car at once and not panel by panel because they colors will never match based on how you sprayed it from different angles. im assuming thats not true. About to paint my Z in a rose gold. very informative video. i will be back to go over this before i paint.
Yoo bro nice work next time when you painting the Fenders put some 2 Wire on the bottom of the fenders and put long Wire run the wire Fender And tie the wire to the Ten so the fenders won't move when you are painting. I Learn how to to all my paint and body work on TH-cam had a 96 chevy
amazing what a good paintjob will do for a vehicle! you local to spring hill florida? paint my nissan 300zx, z32. i have 2 of them. body work done on 1 and in process on the 2nd. both will need paint when done.

Hell yea looks like you rocked that metallic! I’m just starting building a first gen dodge 350 crew cab going to be looking for a damn good painter for my truck.
Looks like a factory paint job! Thank you!😊
Maybe add some weights and tie wire to the bottom of panels to reduce the swaying while spraying paint. Good work
