I love the story behind this! I love that you left the playing card as is. That’s so awesome to me. I wouldn’t alter them either. It would be fun to think of all the conversations they heard and where they’ve been! Love it all! The detail is incredible!

This is stunning! It's my favorite subject to junk journal! In saying that I may be biased as I'm a Horticulturist and specialise in medical plants. 😅 you have done an amazing job with this! 💗

Hi Sara, lovely journal. Everyone you do it so unique and full of treasures! It's raining, thundering and lightning here this Saturday evening. It was in the upper 70's today! Crazy weather!!! We went to a free garage sale today, it was so much fun and I totally scored! After we went to Farmers Market. Glad it was sunny and hot when we did those things! Love this style, I wouldn't be able to sell it either. I'd just make more of this style. I've kept mostof the ones I've made. sitting down to make another one and one for a friend for a short trip we are taking. It's so hard to edit it all down though, lol.

Thank you 🥰 hmm it's so hard to gauge time, but I would say about 80 hours, I work on them from the time I get home from work, till I go to bed and usually all weekend 😊 they never feel like work though, they are my happy place and mindfulness space. I am working on 2 others at the moment, I had to split thos one as I got so carried away lol, and I've started my red one. I never used to be able to work on more than one at a time, but I'm getting better at that now. I also have my victorian album project which has stalled lol but I've now decided to make it an ideas journal 😊 so that should pick up momentum again too 😁🩷

I loved watching this 🥰 do you have any recommendations to get supplies in NZ/Aotearoa ? I do go to op shops a lot but sometimes oppies don’t cut it if I need a certain something.

@rayofsonshine3 hi 😊 do you mean ephemera? I get a lot of bits and pieces from trademe and fb marketplace, lace from marketplace l, opshops and temu, floral books from red cross book store, opsho0s or trademe. Any particular floral image? I can try trl you what book I got it from 😊
