Honestly this take needs to be talked about more. The knowledge gap at lower elos is insane. I've played on accounts in gold where people don't know how to freeze let alone when to shove the lane, when to slow push, and when to recall. Super frustrating as a jungler to see people not aware of their waves or where they are in the lane. There needs to be a video when you reach lvl 30 that is mandatory and maybe a quiz or smth that you're forced to take to make sure that people understand this stuff.

Players ought to know this clear easy stuff already and just do it. Like in hockey they don't need to constantly be talking to play the team game well. They know how each other play from practice. Communication is only needed when someone is does something the other player doesn't understand.
The role you're talking about at the end is General Managers. Issue is that are teams willing to pay them fairly to do that type of work. Right now it may be a monetary thing where they just wouldn't be paid fairly enough.
What LS talks about at roughly 29:00 relates to something I learned in college about motivation. You divide motivation into 2 categories, intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic is motivation that comes internally such as fun or whatever else is a motivating factor on a personal level and extrinsic is motivation that comes from external sources, in this case using money. What's really notable is how the two interact with each other on a psychological level when an extrinsic value is assigned to something that previously had an intrinsic value, the extrinsic value can replace it entirely. As a result you end up with money being the only factor motivating people and can causes severe burnout as extrinsic motivators are not good in providing long term motivation.
It feels like Tactical had to prove himself last year as DLift’s replacement but now there’s no need for him to worry about job security because there’s no native ADC that they’ll replace him with. I’d say it’s complacency.

Tactical is middle of the pack/above average adc in NA. That means hes bad on international stage. TL last couple of years were always maxed out on imports. Put 2 and 2 toghether, its not that hard.
I actually thing Dgon has a good point about Tactical and Tristana, for the exact same reason dom says it isn't different. I think that because the champion is easy and has the possibility of resets and a long jump, that Tactical might be too comfortable going in when he really just shouldn't, however there isn't any excuse for the times he's been caught too far up in lane with no support.

Also NALCS was considered worse than the other regions such as EU/LCK but there has since passed another 5yrs+ without success beyond whenever pr0lly left with Complexity dissolving into his time coaching H2K. OCE was still worse or nonexistant than NALCS during this period. So No it is still worse than pr0lly scenario.
