Great video. Learned a bit. I’m running these in 19 on my 750 HP GT. I run my 305/35R19 at 29 psi on the rear on the street. I’ll have to try chalking them as I was about to spend 3k on 17” headlocks and MT ET SS tires. This gives me something to think about lol
@@jrod8599 It got a little bit better on the Nitto however those tires really need to be heated up in order to get sticky. I'm actually selling the supercharged S550 and getting a S650 DH now; going from around 800 down to 500 as I mellow in my older age.
R2s 305/45/17 street psi for even wear and dragstrip no prep psi, if anyone knows please. Nitto doesn't provide any info so im just going with Mickey Thompson drag radial instructions.
I have both 19 and 20 inch rims that I can use for the back would you use nitto555r2 in 305 x 35 x 19 or 305 x 30 x 20 size? I roll race from 30mph in a Whippled 10R80 Mustang GT.
Most fast manuals on drag radial are 50% aftermarket mods and still take so much skill that you won't be getting your learning anything specific from the youtubes
@@nola504boy1 you’ll soon be humbled by a skilled manual driver, ain’t as fast as no 10r80, but with a good geared car with a good ass driver would smoke you or give you a good race lol
@Kevin Breese Even with full suspension upgrade, one can not launch drag radials without wheel hop. They're fine for the street but terrible at the track. Need Bias Ply.

How did you do after trying this?

@Michael-CS I will try it this week, hope I can make them hook. That's a good move, I probably do the same but I'm thinking to get the new s650 roush
Great tips, thanks Justin
Learned a lot, thanks!
Awesome video! Thank you.
traction control and stability off on your c7?
Excellent! Great explanation! Very Fast ET! Sub 10.00
What size are these tires? I’m looking for a set for my c7 z06
305/30/20 on the rear. The size is clearly shown a few times in the video.
13 for a test and tune night wouldn’t this be too low for a 20” rim?

Cool video good information!!
Psi for a daily?
in my mustang they ask for 35psi on the 19 rim.
@@Coyote.five.0 If you run 35 PSI youll wear them out quickly. I run at 25 PSI on the street they will last longer.
@Monopoly i didn't know that thank you i will try that because i just bought 2 new tires for my rear

My vote would be the 19 for more sidewall
@@mattcarlson8773 thank you mate
An automatic? gotta show drag racing manuals
They don’t care.
Manuals are slow so 🤷🏽♂️
@@nola504boy1 meh, you’re mostly right. Manuals are cool, and fast manuals are way cooler!

Can you provide a link to your rear spoiler ?
😆Your local Chevy dealer.
Good video. Should have used a more difficult car to launch like a Mustang.
These “tips” don’t work for manual transmission cars.
Dude I was surprised by the times
Too bad he didn't tell us the size of his tires or did I miss it
305/30R20
Good vid
Don't even bother if you have a manual transmission
What do you mean?

@@skullhart .... So, what DOT tire would you recommend for a 2023 ScatPack Widebody Shaker with manual transmission?!? 🤷♂️
@K For the street, anything is fine, but for the track you'll want bias ply front and rear
@@skullhart .... I forgot to put in the original message, for the 1/4 mile track 😖... 😅..... Thanks 👍
Is everyone roll racing in this video, wtf?
Tires are good for auto cars only
