Just bought a super chief revival as my first longboard (and first board of any kind lmao) and I'm having a blast, super fun, stable enough, got flex to it. Awesome for a beginner to learn on, I'll be sticking with this for a while. Thanks Landyachtz!
@Amira Bautista I love it! Go out skating every other night, the board is fantastic. Handles higher speeds well (but you can feel its limits when you really push it), carves like a dream, looks great. Such a great longboard. I'm looking to get a dropthrough as well.

I bought the ripper . But it have no flex. Little desappointement on that my drop cat 38 have 4 time more flex .
But for youbthe dipper is superflex ?

I'm gonna buy the Ripper as my first board, with good wheels, trucks, and bearings and all. I've been gathering money for a board and I'm up to 50$ in 3 days. I'm feelin' pretty confident about getting this amazing board.

Sitting here struggling choosing between the dipper (super chief) and ripper! I'll let you everyone in the comments know my choice and a small take on it as soon whatever I choose gets here!
Edit: Hello everyone, I ended up choosing the Dipper (postcard), and I definitely do not regret the decision. To begin, the other boards in my quiver are a Landy drop hammer (white oak), a Landy dinghy blunt (UV Sun), and a Penny 22". The Dipper definitely sets itself apart from all the others, but it's definitely the most similar to the Dinghy, as I'm sure you've all heard countless others say. However, it's still able to set itself apart. I'll begin with the ride. It's buttery smooth. I was concerned with how stable it would be because of the narrower trucks, as compared to the Ripper, but this board is crazy stable, even after testing it down some local hills. But don't get me wrong, even though it's plenty stable, it still carves like an absolute MOFO. I feel like I'm surfing on asphalt, it's quite literally lives up to its name in the fact that you are "dipping" in and out of each carve. And don't get me started on the slide potential. I found myself transitioning between advanced carve and slide so smoothly that sometimes I didn't even notice I was sliding! It's super easy to maneuver and as long as you have enough width, I'd be comfortable in saying you could very well do some mellow freeriding on this board. I'd definitely take it on hills I'd be too uncomfortable taking my Dinghy but I also feel don't warrant my Drop Hammer. Right after dipping in and out of street corners on main street, that is. Very pleasantly satisfied with the Dipper. Of course with this choice you sacrifice a kicktail and wider trucks and a wider deck, but if those aren't your scene anyway, then you won't have lost anything. I know I'm perfectly content without them. I'm team Dipper!
Thanks for the comment. I have a dinghy and a battle axe. I'm thinking about getting the ripper deck and putting my dinghy trucks and wheels on it, since they use the same ones.

I have the Dipper and this is a really smooth ride. Comparible to the Drop Cat! I rode a lot of different LY's but i think the Dipper is my new favourite for riding in the city

I grabbed a Super Chief as my first "longboard" and it took me a good hour to get used to the length and flex but it was well worth it. Super fun board that just tanks anything you throw at it.
I was thinking about getting one as my first longboard. I plan to use it for cruising around the paved roads along the river and learn some carving. Is it a good board for this?

How do you slide if you're old and not flexible have a hard time getting low? Asking for a friend.
That has to be the ultimate down hill boarding track. Watch out for toddlers on that track they got no sense of danger

Which one is better for sliding, Ripper or Super chief. Maybe also compared to the Dinghy
They are very similar for sliding since they both have the same wheels. Same wheels as a Dinghy too
Landyachtz so when it comes to sliding, you would recommend Super Chief as well as a Dinghy just both of them have the same wheels.
@@dirkn.4645 All of our boards can slide very well! Each wheel has a different feeling when sliding. It depends on what style of sliding/skating you are doing. The Fatty Hawgs (Dinghy wheel) grip at slower speeds but with the right amount of speed and turn break out nicely for smooth slides.
