Disinvited: The Eucharist and the Scandal of Excluding Genuine Believers

Presentation begins at the 6 minute mark. Presentation given on 2/6/23 for the Houston Theological Seminary Theology Seminar. Dr. Robert Gagnon, professor of theology at Houston Christian University and Houston Theological Seminary, discusses whether a church or denomination is ever justified to exclude what it perceives to be genuine believers from the Eucharist, and whether the doctrine of Transubstantiation was a view held by Jesus or Paul. In the last third of the video Dr. Gagnon explains why John excluded from his Gospel mention of the Eucharist in connection with Jesus' Last Supper.
