you could just scale the throttle (there's even a function in betaflight I heard) to make 6S feel safer nice flying there as well - flying more FPV instead of playing VG isn't a bad thing to do ;)
@@ridethesky3259 You can even set a PID/Rate toggle up on a controller switch. Use the exact same batteries no matter who's flying, and just turn "kid mode" on and off.
Nice comparison, I have few questions: 1.What motors KV you had on this one 2. Did you record video from Gopro? 3. What rates on it. I'm building evoque now and just gathering info about this frame quad etc.
Nice video bro. I had no idea u could use a 4s on a 6s quad . I thought it would damage the electrical components. I have the evoque f5d and made a mistake buying 4s batteries instead of 6s... Good to know i dont have the throw them away
Good vid! I see you're flying DJI. OpenTx has a nice option where you can create an adjustable throttle mix and assign it to a rotary knob. I originally set it up to fly a Mobula 7 around my yard. Liked it so much that I ended up adding the mix to all my quads., including Nazgul V2. Turned all the way down, max throttle is actually 50%. I'd imagine it'd be great for training.
Very helpful comparison. Same thought here, I sold my 6s few months ago and traded it with 4s. I was thinking of the damage I can create using 6s battery, maybe after a few more flights
@@djilly75 that is super awesome!! Yeah I still haven't had to build or rebuild any kwads yet... soldering irons are pretty intimidating with my super shaky hands. Very glad you subscribed and I'm serious... I may have to send you some quads!

Did you fly without the Hero or with it? since its "for a beginner" without makes sense and should garner more flight time? or did you do it without the camera?
I could go quite a bit longer, but I'm most testing situations I fly to about 3.6v per cell then land it, which seems to get the final voltage back to about 3.8v so I don't have to storage charge the battery. When flying pro moto shoots I'll fly it down to 3.5 volts per cell to get as much footage as possible. Lately I've been using a 2200mah 5s battery and getting 12:30 flight times!
I really needed to see this Vid..Just bought the Nazgule Evoque. Curious to see the difference in the Batteries..I'm a Noob. Just been flying the Tinyhawk 2. Had to step up. I'm worried i might be doing more crashing then flying..I think you helped me make up my mind 4s
It's interesting because I have a problem with smooth throttle control, I'm constantly up and down. When I flew 4s on the 6s, I seemed to be a lot smoother because throttle response was very mellow. I'm excited for my sin and even wife to try!
I Iike your style of flying and become as good as you. I want to buy the exact same drone, but I don't know if the included video antenna is left polarization(LHCP) or right polarization(RCHP). Thanks.
I've heard that anything using DJI is usually left hand polarization. The antenna on the Nazgul that comes with the Caddx Polar is LHCP. Hope that helps! Thanks for the kind words!
@@ridethesky3259 Thanks for your kind response, it really helped me even though I want to get the analog version. There are probably all shipped with the LHCP version.
@@tudorgeorgenicoara5431 Mine is RHCP. I have an analog. I think you get to choose at the time of purchase (if buying brand new) but even if not, is it really that big of a deal? Antennae are cheap. If the kwad you get is LHCP, just get an LHCP antenna.
@@tudorgeorgenicoara5431 Yup. Just check if you can choose. If you can, choose which you need. If you can’t, then buy the appropriate antenna. No reason to avoid this kwad if the polarity of the antenna is your only issue.
Does the water proof gopro case help protect it? I already cracked my gopro10 when I crashed the back screen smacked the battery and cracked. So just wondering if you think that the case will help protect it from some "minor" crashes.
It does! Cheap Waterproof cases can be had for about $11 on ebay and while they do add weight, it's good insurance and has protected the camera in some nasty crashes. I've gone through four cases so far but it's saved the gopro every time. Now if I could find some kind of protection for my batteries!

The version made for 4s should have more power than a 6s on 4s since the kv on the motors will be made for 4s
despite being really informative, the video quality is superb. what settings are you using in your GoPro?
