      CFL? That doesn't translate very with Chicago. Remember Marc Trestman, he has won 3 CFL championships with two different teams. He had a losing record with the Bears.
      I believe that his lack of success had more to do with the Bears having a typical Bears roster (sucked!). His first year has the record for Bears passing yards in a season, 4281. He is currently on the LA Chargers staff.

    At the end of the day he’s progressing exactly how you want and expect a rookie to progress. If they had half the run game they had last season that would make his life a lot easier but Swift seems to be the culprit. Every other back gets north and south and gets yards. Swift tried to play Madden every time he touches the ball. 😅

    We finally have a real quarterback. The season hasn't gone the way any of us wanted, but we have a real quarterback who can make incredible throws and throw down the middle. We also have a quarterback who for the first time since Trubisky, threw for 350+ yards.

      @Joseph-gm3qm หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ZoeSimza If you can't see Caleb's a real quarterback, then you don't know football. Off of one game? Hardly. Caleb's been an upgrade over last couple quarterbacks the Bears have had. Don't try correcting me again. Correct yourself.

    • @ZoeSimza
      @ZoeSimza หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Joseph-gm3qm An upgrade off of Trubisky, absolutely. You'll get no argument from me there. An upgrade off some of Chase Daniel, yeah probably. And CERTAINLY an upgrade off of that absolute clown the Bears had Mike Glennon. Is he an upgrade from Fields? I'm honestly not quite sure. He reads defenses better than Fields, but he doesn't run nearly as well. He has a quicker time to throw than Fields, who would hold onto the ball for several years in the pocket, but he overthrows much worse than JF1 ever did. And now that Fields is with the Steelers and looking great, it does make me wonder if Williams is the better of the two. I will say that CW has a much higher play IQ. He doesn't make the same stupid mistakes that honestly a whole lot of quarterbacks tend to make, he doesn't throw into coverage, he doesn't panic and toss the ball at random when he gets hit, he doesn't produce bad turnovers. I'm also not yet convinced he's better than Tyson Bagent is. Then again, with an O-line as miserable as the Bears have and an offensive coordinator as brain dead stupid as Shane Waldron, even the best quarterback would struggle on this team.
