What makes anyone believe that Ryan poles was even competent to build an offensive line when he himself didn’t even make the team and then all of a sudden he goes to Kansas City. That’s clearly one of the problems with this organization too. Flus is just horrible.
Robert Saleh and Ben Johnson...have to add a coach who gets the most out of his defense, Saleh, and a offensive coordinator like Johnson. It does not have to be these exact coaches, but coaches with that have gotten results. Saleh was a good coordinator with the 49ers and his Jets defense was solid.
I just watched the score 670 with Olin Kreutz he just picked the O line basically the whole offense apart and the coaching staff. We need a guy who’s been a bear knows the history of the team and isn’t scared to voice his opinion.
Bears don't like Olin, it's not a secret. He was offered a job under Ryan Pace as the gm for $15/hr to be an oline assistant, and of course it was insulting and he didn't take it.
The problem is ownership. Plain and simple. What a coincidence that all these years no matter how many GMs, HCs, or QBs we've gone through, the Bears can never have sustained success. The coaches, GMs, and qb's change, but ownership has remained the same. As long as the McCaskey's own the bears, it's going to be the same garbage, which confuses me becuase you'd think that being in a huge market like Chicago, you'd want to win and make way more money as a franchise. I don’t think Eberflus will get fired with a rookie QB, tape of a 3 game winning streak, a relatively good defense for 2 seasons (maybe he hands off play calling to Eric Washington to focus on game management) and I bet he gets at least two full seasons with CW18.
