@NewAgeServerAlarm You could drill a hole on the plate on the 8700-S where there isn't any holes that you need. And watch out for the location where you drilled the hole so that the switch that you use doesn't affect the pull. Since the pull is plastic.
LMAO..i gotta say that i'm very impressed. well done. your the kind of junior techs we like to hire. someone who would care about there job. i dont normally watch my subscribers video but i was told to come and have a look at it. 5 stars! now I have a question for ya....hahaha. if you do a signal silence while in 2nd stage and do a subsequent alarm will it restart back in 2nd stage??
In places like where I live, the fire departments (volunteer, I should add) never touch the fire alarm systems. In fact, most of the firefighters are drunk all the time...
i dont think i have yet to see one. i have seen panels that have the GE logo on it. i'll check my stock and see. GE bought edwards a few years back. what is your auto transfer time to second?
LOL Im sure if he hasnt already hes going to real fast. BTW... Thanks for taking a look at my friends video. I thought you might like it... LOL. Hes put a lot of work into this system.
LTCWM1 the pull was set of on first stage, but since there isnt another conformation, but you see a fire, you can press the drill button to activate second stage
Compare the button to the annunciator buttons, and then look at the rear plate on the pull station. Likely he was able to fish the wires through one of the holes in the back of the pull to his panel.
My house is so small that I set it to two minutes, then dropped it down to one.
System test 16 2008: I wonder how system test 30 will be
System test 30 2012: ...
It does go back into second stage. Also, it's programmed to automatically go into second stage after a few minutes.
5:04 "There's a fire, oh no! Open the pull, push the button." XD
The intro had an earthquake.
Awesome test!

If you we're just a person in a building that had 2 stage, what would you do. Would you stay or leave

You should make some sort of wireless annunciator. This would work so well and prevent you from having to run from the alarm station to the panel.
Also, how often do you see a 270-SPO with the GE logo instead of the Edwards logo? Mine has the GE logo.
The buttons in the pulls and in the panel are the only ways.
Lol now twoplyboy knows where to see one!
din t you mention the brk smoke alarm in the basement or something else ?

How come you're coding your Wheelock MT. Set it on continuous tone
I don't think it actually has the setting for "continuous tone". Thanks a lot, Wheelock/Honeywell...
@@dexterthewulf3637 Wheelock MT's do have a continuous setting and this has nothing to do with honeywell lol
@@alexandersalarms5380 Continuous _TONE!_ Stop being an idiot to the community!
Is the true alert two wire?
No
@@dumdum7786 yes, there us a 2 wire version.
You should wear earplugs, like I do.
I think 2 stage works better on the alertek i8005 no offense
It’s way newer so of course. It wouldn’t be offensive because he made both panels, and the i8005 was the new version of the 8005
awesome video. what's the name of this coding
I think it’s called 2 stage
Or stage 1/2
