I don't blame Palpatine. Despite being more experienced and Anakin's master, Obi Wan wouldn't have stood a chance had Anakin not been so conflicted, arrogant, and reckless.
He used his anger on the other Jedi, but still was very calculated and FOCUSSED. That's why NO OTHER JEDI stood a chance against him. With Obi-Wan specifically, Vader is way too riled up and unleashes all his anger to the point where he becomes arrogant and prone to weakness. Obi-Wan specifically knows how to exploit this. If Vader unleashed all his rage on other Jedi, they'd be dead! But against Obi-Wan? Nope.
Ofc Palps didnt want Ani/Vader trapped in a suit. You just have to watch the film to understand that. Palps says to Yoda: "You will not stop me, Darth Vader will become more powerful than either of us." Palpie is such a pure sith, that he doesnt even care if he himself is done away with, in time, as long the sith wins and survives. What an absolute savage!
I like what you said about Palpatine’s line about if Yoda came to Mustafar to face Anakin. He wouldn’t have had the same pity & emotional connection as Obi-Wan did and would have ended Vader then & there.
They should have written a reason for palpatine to save Vader, like if Vader had choked him after being burned or something and Palpatine was impressed that Vader was still the strongest potential apprentice. There were still plenty of surviving Jedi and unknown force users and children, some of whom gave Vader a tough fight. Palpatine could have let Vader die and corrupted one of them unless he had a reason to want Vader he wouldn’t save him
Medicine as a whole is way behind the other technology in Star Wars. They have mastered cloning and can even modify the growth rates and make clones more mentally obedient to orders. You would think they would have advanced stem cell treatments to regrow damaged or destroyed organs, or ways to transplant organs without rejection, or even ways to transplant someone’s brain into a new body entirely, yet they just use metal limbs and external breathing mechanisms and stuff like that.
If you remove the clothes that are melted to the skin you will rip off half the skin better to let it heal underneath and let it fall off with scabs is what I always thought.
@@lukewelch8351 with burns these severe, the skin and flesh underneath is burned and dead too. Doesn’t really matter if you pull it off along with the clothes. You need to remove the burnt clothes and dead tissue anyways, because it would be a big risk of infection.
It’s a shame that Anakin’s fall was so rushed and all crammed within the last 30 minutes of the entire prequel trilogy. He went from hopeless romantic to child killer within 10 minutes.

I genuine believe that Sidious really want to train Vader adequally but after mustafar he is just disapointed by him and his arrogance.
If you read the comics which are canon you’ll realize he does train and teach Vader
