Definitely going to be the Grey Pilgrim (Gandalf) or Bilbo Baggins himself. Both smoke wonderful pipes and I can relate to both. I like to think that I would be a wandering grey wizard but reality does not prove this. I live more like a hobbit with a fondness of all the comforts of home. Congratulations on the 500 milestone!
I would have to say Bilbo Baggins himself. I can relate to him the most. I am short and chubby. I'm close to middle aged. I'm quite, I always try to do the right thing. Most would say I'm dependable. I can be brave. I have morals. I am very sentimental and traditional and hate to get away from it. I hate change. Although I'd rather be home with a pipe, a drink, and good food doing my normal stuff, I make the most of an adventure.
Good answers, Chris! I'm not a big fan of change either, and prefer the predictability and stability of the Hobbit lifestyle. But every now and then life shakes things up a bit, which is always inevitable.
My favorite character is Aragorn/Strider because, he’s a natural leader that has no selfish ambitions to take on such a position. He’s loyal, brave, wise, and true.

My favorite might be Gimili because I relate to him because of this love of a good sharp axe size, a thick neck, size and stature, love of a good drink and good smoke. Bilbo is a close second because of love of hearth and home, a good meal and drink with a smoke wth friends.
