Not many content creators are putting out as much quality breakdowns as you are. Thank you and huge kudos for the consistency! Once I'm able I'll definitely be purchasing the course.
False color when no one’s watching 🤣👏🏻. Just tried one of your tips tonight. Night Interior, blasted lights from the tops of the tall windows, framed down to cut out the sources, and had really nice moonlight. It’s like you know what you’re talking about! Thank you sir
I love how you explain lighting. Is unbelievable. I definitely love every single video. You ever discuss your lighting (2) One soft key and one aimed RGB led. Tell out...
A little off topic, but was wondering what software you are using to use the highlighter pen as you describe the scene? When I have meetings with clients - I tend to do a lot of finger pointing when describing stuff - as I was watching it occurred to me that a pen like that would be a lot better choice in those meetings. Sorry to be off topic in the comments - I do enjoy these breakdowns and descriptions. Your explanations are all dead on, and make total sense. Thanks so much for making these.
On Mac, Screenbrush is an option, its free for the most part, 3.99 for a couple features that you might not even need! Windows, I think there's something that's in built that can do this, it's called Screen Sketch
Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge! I notice you mention "The Framework" quite often in your videos. Is this a reference to a recorded set of cinematography principles or just referring to the idea of general foundational cinematography basics?
Quality content here, thank you! About that garage exit shot, would an iris pull solve that problem with exposure levels? Obviously not with that exact shot and framing, but with a dolly move backwards maybe?
can you link the actual commercial, as a filmmaker i would to understand what are they selling to understand why they filmed it the way they did , thanks
I'm a director and I must say, a lot of your witty comments are hitting home and helping me better understand your job.
the most important thing for every director to remember is that the crew is 100% behind you...but at the same time no one cares about your thing.

There are courses for sale? Where???*FoundIt

Good job breaking down what us cinematographers have to discuss when doing a recce on location and on the day of the shoot.
15:55 - I spit coffee everywhere. xD
I love how you just oozes knowledge but still convey it in a way that's easy to understand. Keep it up!

I'd suggest putting the link of the commercial/videos that you're discussing in the description so that we can check out the full video to know more

Congratulations for your channel. One of the best in TH-cam Filming community. Do you happen to know the camera they’ve used on this commercial? 🤔
The garage scene was very helpful, thanks patrick!
