Sweet collection! A Monster Lord card was actually made for the Japanese Starter Box, it's in a dark red color and I believe it came in Version 2 of the Starter Box along with the abacuses but I may be wrong. For about a decade, I've slowly been collecting the English figured and cards and today I almost have the complete collection along with a few custom mats and dice. There are a total of 63 Figures/Cards made in the English ver. Including the Monster Lord and the Blue-Eyes Promo Variant. If the Japanese figures weren't so expensive I would've totally tried collecting them as well but I'm fine with just the single Summoned Skull figure I have. There are way more iconic monsters that are highly sought after. Great video!
Thank you. Yes, they made a Monster Lord card in the second starter set, but I bought the first starter set without it. The English cards I think look a lot nicer, definitely cleaner, but I decided to collect the Japanese due to the larger amount of figures available. I believe there are 144 different figures (not counting any variants) in the Japanese version. The ones from the 4-7th booster packs are definitely more expensive. I don't have too many of those, but I'm chipping away at some of those one at a time. Thanks for watching and for the kind words.

Played it as a kid, but never had any figures or cards, only played the starter set my friends had. Fast-forward 20 years and I remember the game. Then I went on eBay and started buying the figures and cards. Almost everything I bought was through eBay.
