@@snayperkill6218 I live in Cordillera in the Philippines which is where about 90% of the fighters of team lakay is. I myself am the cousin of one of their fighters fighting in the regional level.
The champs get about 150k-200k guaranteed but they can negotiate for more especially if they came from a another big organization. Thr entry level fighters get around 10k per fight similar to the UFC but there are some cases where fodder fighters meant to pad the record of a prospect get less than that. On top of the contract from ONE, they also get money from sponsorships which they wouldn't be able to do in UFC because of the Reebok deal.
P.s. if you're not familiar with team lakay, if you search up filipino fighters in ONE FC chances are they're a member of the team. Champs and former champs like Pacio, Eustaquiao, and Belingon are some examples.

Aung La at least improved a lot from the first fight. There's just a massive gap in their grappling and wrestling, that takes a lot of time to close and learn how to deal with...respect for taking that rematch so soon tho

This shows that the sport is continuing to evolve. And new fighters are now rising to the challenge.
Sadly, this fight is a throwback to the early days of UFC when strikers had zero takedown defense and almost no ground game. There’s nothing innovative or future looking about this match at all. De Ridder is a comically unidimensional reminder of the past. He would get absolutely mauled if he tried any of those pathetically telegraphed takedowns against any competent UFC mma fighter, much less the UFC champions at middle or light heavy weight.
As much as i love aung la n sang, de ridder has very good game plan since the beningging. He really knows how to win this fight. Now i wanna see maybe aung la could make a change and go for muay thai in ONE. That would be awesome because aung la is a good stand up fighter
